They have the best chicken noodle soup! The menu is similar to what you'd see at Brent's in Northridge. There's not too much focus on ambiance or the presentation of the food, honestly. Each time I've been there it's been fairly busy, if not crowded and it doesn't seem like they have enough help. At the end of the day, the food is very reasonably priced and tastes good.

First starters they're rye bread with butter was delicious and then I had a chicken soup with an entire chicken in the soup with two matzo balls and fresh carrots and whatever else was in it it was delicious. Highly recommend this place if you've never been. That was my first time going and I loved it.

For a no thrills, no fuss, down to brass tacks diner, look no further than Frank's Weiler's in Canoga Park. Headed over on a Friday afternoon around 1pm and the place was about half-full. I decided to opt for the BLTA on sourdough (instead of rye) with a side of sweet potato fries. The sandwich was pretty large. Crispy bacon, fresh lettuce, tomato and no skimping on the amount of avocado. The side of fries was huge! The sweet potato fries were crisp, tasty and seasoned well. Plenty of friendly service and a ton of faux-leather booths available, this diner offers fresh options for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The crowd is made of plenty of regulars, including the senior citizen crowd coming in for breakfast all day or the early bird special. Plenty of parking g out front and behind the building.

Always love this place. Their food is fabulous. I got the French toast this time and it was perfect. Not too eggy not too bland either. And it came with eggs on the side that had its own separate plate! That definitely shows you how big the portions are here and at a good price too! Only $13 for what I ordered AND I got leftovers. Such a good deal. Service here is great as well. Super fast, and super attentive. Every time I looked my water glass was full without me even asking! Also there was no wait time despite them being super busy on a Saturday afternoon! Heads up it does get really crowded inside as it is somewhat a compact restaurant. Only downside to this place is the parking situation. They don't have many spots available so you may have to have a little bit of walk or fight for a spot haha. But the food is worth it! Overall I had a great experience! So far I really recommend the pastrami sandwich for lunch or the French toast for breakfast!

The food and breakfast is delicious . The bacon comes crispy unfortunately it is extremely extremely salty ... it feels like you drank sea water the moment you eat it. I'd stick with the sausage if I were you

This is the first bad review I have ever given. I was a 30 year customer at this restaurant until yesterday when the person behind the register (who said he was the owner) was so rude and nasty to me. I will never go here again. Extremely rude and nasty. Please stay away.
