I've been going to the Encino Wanderlust for years but this one time I'm at this location on 3/21/2024 at 8pm, the server denied our request for samples while shortly after, we saw her giving samples to the next customers.

Wanderlust is my fave ice cream. My visit to the Topanga Social location however wasn't great as the worker used her thumb to help guide my scoop into the cup, touching the scoop thoroughly. I was ok with it as long as she removed her glove before charging me -- she didn't. This led me to think that she hadn't taken her gloves off for any guests before me and that could be problematic. I didn't want to be a jerk and ask for a redo so I left (forgot to input my number to get the points, double whammy). Hoped I wouldn't feel weird after eating the Abuelita Malted Crunch but sure enough, 15-ish minutes later my tummy started to gurgle. Won't prevent me from coming back but hoping ownership/management ensures quality control in the future! **Yep, stomach didn't lie. Spent 20minutes on the toilet. Changing to 1-star.

The ice cream selection was very interesting, different. The service has a lot to be desired, rude

I crave their ube malted crunch. It's perfectly creamy. Texture is velvety and luscious simply melting on your tongue. You'll have to turn your spoon upside down to get the full bite. The cold contrast with the added malt balls give a bite of airy Carmel sort of taste, just perfect. One scoop is plenty but if you're feeling daring go for the two! If you can handle two you may just be able to adventure into three.

Can never go wrong with this place. We normally go to the one down on Ventura and Reseda and I would ALWAYS buy pints of their Thai tea flavor which has been gone for so long! I think it might have been discontinued but I hope they bring it back at some point. There's never a line whenever we come to this location and it's a quick and easy service. Lots of seating available and flavors are on point! Such a unique variety of flavors that you don't typically find anywhere else. I highly recommend the Ube Malt Crunch and the Sapin Sapin if it's in season (usually during Filipino heritage month). Their Pandan is also another great flavor. Honestly, they are all super delicious, creamy, and really hits the spot. The Topanga Social is a great spot to enjoy this ice cream!! Good vibes, loud music, great company. Always enjoy coming here with friends and family. IG: @ammysalamii

I had the pleasure of indulging in the delightful experience offered by Wanderlust Creamery, and let me tell you, it was nothing short of a taste bud celebration! Located inside of the Topanga Social, they have many wonderful ice cream flavors to choose from. The variety of flavors on offer is truly impressive, catering to every palate imaginable. They are known for unique flavors that I have not seen at any other ice cream shop. During this visit, I tried the Ube Malted Crunch and I love the purple color of it, which looks cute in photos. The staff is friendly and is more than willing to provide recommendations and even offer generous samples to help you find your perfect flavor match.

They deserve a higher average rating. Their flavor combinations are inventive and cohesive. I'm at a point in my life where I thought that I had lost my love for ice cream. Their ube crunch flavor brought my joy and wonder back. The people working the counter are nice and helpful. Be sure to ask for samples. Your tastebuds will thank me.

This is the second time we are having this. We aim to try all of their flavor offerings. Today we had the smoky road which was their version of rocky road. It was to die for. I highly recommend it. Can't wait to try the other flavors. My only complaint is that it is very pricey. So this is definitely a splurge.

Really enjoyed Wanderlust Creamery. Hubby and I ate a quick lunch at Topanga Social and wanted to end our afternoon with a sweet treat. We ordered the trio sampler for $8. The flavors we got were the Ube Malted Crunch, Kinder, and Mango Sticky Rice. All of the flavors were very unique. We were impressed with the Mango Sticky Rice since it had mango bits in it. The Kinder was very nice and chocolatey. The Ube Malted Crunch was the best. The ube flavor was very prominent and the texture was great. Very solid ice cream spot and service is impeccable. The staff is extra friendly and helpful with samples!

The girl working the desk has a terrible I mean terrible attitude. Seems like she hates her job. Smile a little be more welcoming. To top it off she barely gave any ice cream. Smallest portion ever. Over all wouldn’t recommend it. So many other options

It's been a while since I've been to this Creamery but I think the Japanese Neapolitan has changed as I don't remember the Sakura being one of them. In any case, I was worried that it would have a strong cherry taste but this was actually very refreshing and creamy and somehow familiar too.

This creamery is inside the Topanga Social at the Westfield Mall. The lady at the counter was courteous and offered me to taste the flavors. A little pricy but the ice cream tasted very good.

Wow! An incredible ice cream experience with an Asian / Filipino twist for flavors. Wanderlust has many locations but we just tried the new spot at the topanga social which is basically a nice cafeteria area in the bottom floor of the new wing of the mall. The flavors are very unique and offer great Asian twist like mango with sticky rice, ube, sesame cookies and cream, and my fav the Vietnamese rocky road which is basically Vietnamese coffee flavor with your basic rocky road goodies (marshmallow and almonds). Service was really quick and nice. They were also patient with us and let us try a few flavors before we ordered. Highly encourage folks to try it before you order a whole cup as the flavors are unique and you may need to figure out what's best for you (not as simple as vanilla or chocolate). I also appreciated the waffle cones in a cup, as I normally like to get a cup since it's easier to handle but feel like I'm missing out on the full ice cream experience without a cone. I saw someone mention $6 was too expensive but I completely disagree in today's time. $6 is a really fair price for the high quality you get! Highly recommend and will be back for more!

We visited Topanga Social this past weekend as we've read good things about it online. Going in, I knew we would have ice cream from Wanderlust Creamery for dessert, as we have been fans for awhile (but this is our first time at this location). We usually frequent the Pasadena location as that is near our workplace. We love their different ice cream flavors inspired by travel, and especially love the month of October as it is Filipino American Month and they have all sorts of yummy takes on Filipino flavors! But since we've tried all of the seasonals (love the Halo-Halo and Sans Rival flavors they have this month, by the way), we tried something different... I had the pistachio puro flavor and my husband tried the suspiro de limena. I did like the pistachio as pistachios are my favorite. My husband thought his ice cream was a little too sweet though. I did knock off a star as there was only one staff that Sunday afternoon, and the line was getting pretty long. The service could have been better. Ambiance in the food hall was pretty cool though, much better than your regular food court. Super clean as well, the food hall had friendly staff going around, wiping tables and cleaning up.
