I ordered a carne asada burrito when I got home it was a cheese quesadilla so I called and she said she was trying to stop me but I didn't hear anything or see anything she said to give her my number and next time she would make it right so the next day I went and she was giving me a hard time I told her no Pico I'm mine I just said whatever and there was Pico in it anyway it was my first time and last time she was rude maybe next time they should always be nice I was treated like I was trying to get over on them I work and have my own business

Quiet little shop. This was my first time trying it and had an overall good experience! I ordered the California burrito with no pico and added sour cream instead. Unlike some of the reviews I read, I got exactly what I asked for. Also, Horchata was really good! Cashier was really friendly and helpful. I feel I will be returning to try some of their other foods.

Not very good at all and way overpriced!!!! $60 (2) burrito (2) tacos (1) mostly vegetables dinner through a drive thru!! Not sure if the food is different at the locations that have been open for a while but my guess would be yes and wouldn't expect this location to be open very long unless there's some changes made... to many options when it comes to Mexican food in the area!

I am shaking as I’m writing this from how upset I am. We got food on the drive thru and as I grabbed the bag it was extremely wet and smelled like bleach. We went inside to inspect the food to make sure it was not contaminated and reported it to the cashier who helped us and another male cashier and they were extremely dismissive about it. They said the food was ok, that it was not bleach, bagged it in another bag and told us to have a good day. Went back inside our car and the smell of bleach is so strong. Save yourself some trouble and go to Mi Pueblo instead. There is NO WAY I will ever go to this place again! This place needs to either train the ríe staff properly or shut down.

Absolutely horrible. Ordered huevos rancheros thru Grub Hub. Got some sort of omelette drenched in a salsa that was so spicy it was inedible. This used to be a good local chain, at least pre-pandemic. This was the first time I've eaten at this location, and first time eating at the chain in about 4 years. I used to be a big fan, but will never eat here again! This was not a Grub Hub fail, it was a kitchen fail. Just awful. NOT WHAT I ORDERED.
Just had a TERRIBLE experience with this restaurant! Haven't eaten at this restaurant location before (Cardiff), but I used to eat at their Encinitas Blvd and Carlsbad locations all the time. Had a craving for Huevos Rancheros. Simple, right? WRONG!I have grown up eating juevos rancheros all over SoCal, but I have NEVER been served anything like this! Their "version" was an omelette smothered in a spicy red enchilada-style sauce. For those who don't know, juevos rancheros are always a fried egg in a mild, chunky ranchera salsa.This meal is inedible! Even if I were to accept the omelette-style eggs (and yolks are an important aspect of juevos rancheros, if you ask me) I couldn't manage more than 3 bites before the spiciness of the sauce sent this dish to the garbage. The rice and beans are bland, but I loaded them into the provided corn tortillas, popped open a jar of Trader Joe's chunky salsa, added some shredded cheese and at least got something in me.Huge disappointment. Epic waste of $18 bucks!This used to be an excellent local restaurant chain, at least pre-pandemic. Don't know if they were bought out, or just had incompetent help in the kitchen this but morning, but this is an AVOID AT ALL COSTS restaurant unless you enjoy eating while your nose runs and your lips feel on fire! BTW this was a GrubHub delivery, but no part of this was GrubHub's doing. This was the kitchen at Mexico Viejo Cardiff, epic fail!
