Ever since moving to Oceanside my family has desperately searched for Italian food as good as our favorite place back home. After trying many restaurants 2051 Cucina is hands down our favorite place and we now eat there regularly. Everything is homemade with fresh, high quality ingredients. This restaurant has the best ambience and excellent service but lacks thoroughly in food specially vegetarian dishes.Starting with the Margherita Pizza, it was the worst. The crust was overly crispy, the sauce not strong enough and practically no cheese on top.Another vegetarian pizza had SAUTEED VEGETABLES ON TOP. Who on earth puts sauteed veggies on top of pizza that too an italian restaurant.The pasta we ordered were good but had zero seasoning. No traces of salt or pepper. We had to make it appetizing to ourselves.The desserts were amazing though. The chocolate lava cake with gelato was out of the world. The tiramisu was excellent as well. The only redeeming dishes were the desserts.1 star for the food. Will not go there again.Vegetarians/ vegans stay away from this overpriced place with underwhelming food.

Had the spinach tortellini, tasty. The atmosphere was interesting.. Didn't expect it that way. It was like a small warehouse turned into a restaurant.. Nothing wrong with it just different. Needs some soul to warm it up. Waitresses were very nice and attentive.Vegetarian options: There were options scattered throughout the menu. It would be nice if there was a sign next to them not to have to read where single ingredient. Or put them in a vegetarian section.

Beautiful restaurant- gives off IKEA vibes (meatballs included). Pictured is the Gorgonzola Gnocchi without walnut, SO good. I’m more of an Alfredo person and would have gotten Alfredo if it was on the menu but I am glad I got to enjoy this dish! It may not look like many bites but it filled me up plenty. The pieces of garlic were a tad prominent but I loved the cheesy sauce. The charcuterie board was enough for 5 of us to snack on before our meals arrived, it included honey and jam for the bread. Loved the window into the kitchen where we could see the pasta dough being flattened. The price is reasonable for the cuisine and flavors. Definitely recommend.Dietary restrictions: Had a note on the bottom of the menu mentioning gluten free optionsWheelchair accessibility: Everything is available on a first floor.

Best Italian food I've had. I went with an Italian classmate of mine to this place and we had a great experience with the appetizer, entrees, and dessert. Everything overall was great. When I first received my food, I was like there's no way this would fill me up, but it definitely got me there and the end it with desert was perfect. I would love to go back again.
