My wife and I had two delicious sandwiches, and their coffee was great as well. The place was packed when we were there, and we had to wait for a table, but it was well worth the wait. It is conveniently located in a strip mall in Carlsbad with an ample parking lot outside. Give them a try.. you'll be happy you did!

The food was great. However, they add a hidden surcharge to "compensate for the rising cost of food". To the ownership, raise the menu prices and don't pull a fast one on me with a ridiculous hidden surcharge. I'll change my review when you take that off.

I was severely disappointed that the Carnitas didn’t taste like Carnitas at all—I couldn’t even identify what it was. The flavor was bland, and the coffee was mediocre. It feels like a huge chain-style restaurant that lacks any soul.

We sat outside on a nice covered patio, with plenty of room - you're not jammed close to the next table. The menu is extensive - any breakfast foods you can imagine, sandwiches, light fare, etc. They don't skimp on portions, and when the dish calls for syrup or pureed sauce, there's a lot of that, too - very nice! Pleasant staff.

The chilaquiles boasted outstanding flavor, with freshly made tortilla chips that impressed even a skeptic like me—I usually shy away from soggy chips, but these remained fresh and crispy despite being in the green sauce. The Lemon Ricotta pancakes, which we opted for gluten-free, were surprisingly delicious! With such a tempting array of menu options, we're already planning our return to sample them all.The service was efficient and friendly. We enjoyed dining on the patio with our furry friend, where they provided blankets and heaters to keep us cozy and comfortable throughout our meal.

The Avacado Toast was a joke. Tiny in size, pay extra for an small egg and it comes with a large spinach salad (just spinach) to fill up the plate. I have never seen AT that small before and was highly disappointed.
Beach Plum Kitchen is a coastal gem offering a taste of culinary paradise right here in Carlsbad. As soon as you step through the door, you're enveloped in a warm and inviting atmosphere that feels like a breath of fresh ocean air.

The chilequilles had outstanding flavor and freshly made tortilla chips. My wife likes chilequilles, and I don't usually prefer them because I don't like soggy chips... However, these chips seemed fresh and crispy despite being in the green sauce. The Lemon Ricotta pancakes (opted for gluten free) were really good especially for being gluten free! There are so many menu options that sounds so good that we definitely have to come back to try them all.The service is great and fast.We dined on the patio with our fur baby where they provided blankets and heaters so we were very comfortable out there.Dietary restrictions: Amazing gluten free pancakes!

Had an excellent breakfast. I had chorizo hash (superb). Family had strawberry pancakes, huevo ranchero. Yazmin is a FANTASTIC waitress and could not have been nicer and with superb service. A+++ service. Excellent experience and highest recommendation. BTW.. the strawberry basil jam is amazing. Thanks for a great breakfast.
