Service was amazing. Aubree was so so sweet and went above and beyond to make my boyfriend and I happy. They can cater their menu to vegans which was nice. The veggie pasta with red sauce was vegan and delicious. They hooked it up with vegan oil dressing with vegan rolls that was amazing. Very pleased will definitely be back <3

Super cute little spot with an old school Chicago feel. NOTE* restaurant is undergoing reservations in a few days I'm told so inside will look totally different* The waitress/bartender was such a sweet heart, attentive, made me feel like family my first time there, gave great suggestions and great service she seemed super friendly with everyone!! The food was so incredibly good! I had the Burrata with sweet sun dried tomatoes and heirlooms on the side, I'm from Wisconsin, I know cheese, this was amazing! I also had carpaccio which was delightful arugula was fresh, not stingy with the Parmesan and plenty of capers. They also had daily fresh baked rolls, so good!!! Almost creamy and they are served with a lemon parsley oil that's so addicting! Will definitely go back after the renovations are complete!

Me & my partner were out of town for a few months and came to see new ownership on this quaint corner restaurant. We were worried because this is one of THE best in the village. Turns out, it kept most of the staff and is now owned by our favorite Italian Restaurant in South Park, Piacere Mio. We've been walking by with the dog the last few weeks and finally we made plans to grab lunch here! Justin, our server, was incredibly friendly and helpful suggesting which dishes to choose from their amazing menu options. He knew exactly what direction to point us in and recommended a great Pinot Noir for this wine novice! We got the Calamari, Gnocchi and the Risotto special with Porchini mushrooms & jumbo shrimp! The calamari was not fried (!) and came in this white wine & tomato broth-like sauce that just changed the way we experienced calamari! The gnocchi was so tender and even had a small portion of burrata in the middle to take the dish over the top. The risotto was perfectly al dente and flavorful especially with the HUGE shrimp! Ended it all with some epic Tiramisu. Will continue to return here when time affords us the pleasure.

We were greeted kindly by Justin and enjoyed a late lunch outside with our kids. The food was great. We all liked the gnocchi, meatballs and pesto pastas. We also enjoyed the pizza and the desserts too! We look forward to our next visit here so we can enjoy another great meal! Thanks Justin for being a great server and so friendly to us!

My friend & I were walking around Carlsbad looking for someplace to eat and as we walked by Caldo Pomodoro, the owner, Marco & new chef, Theresa (from Italy) greeted us and invited us in to try the food on their new menu. FANTASTIC!!! The best brucetta & great margarita pizza. The manager Gianni & waitress Aubrey were so incredibly nice. We felt like family with all of them. If you are looking for delicious food, reasonably priced and a warm inviting atmosphere give this place a try. We will definitely be back and will recommend to all our friends.

Absolutely amazing food and ambiance. The family feel, the care and attention paid to the food, the personal care taken to make everyone feel welcomed, it all made us feel like we'd been coming to this restaurant for years despite it being our first time. The best garlic bread I've ever had, and overall one of the best Italian dinners my wife and I have ever had.

Best. Garlic. Bread. Ever! Service was exceptional and every course from appetizers to dessert was mouthwatering. Family restaurant. Owned and operated locally for 30 years. Some of the customers we spoke with had been coming there for 10+ years. Has a casual feel, but traditional Italian food with modern twist. You honestly can't go wrong with anything on the menu.

We somehow just tried caldo pomodoro for the first time ever & it's my new favorite Italian restaurant!! Everything we ordered was delicious & the wait staff was incredible. We especially loved the baked artichoke, the Cajun Gorgonzola pasta, and the spicy red sauce. I don't even like Gorgonzola cheese, but the Cajun Gorgonzola sauce was amazing!!! Can't recommend this place enough. We will be back regularly!
