I ordered online from the website, which gave many options to modify. Possibly too many, in fact. (This seems like a nightmare for the back of the house.) My one modification was sauce on the side for a couple of salads. Seems easy, right? The order was ready fast and I went in to get it. This is where the service gets bad. First of all, the 2 young workers ignore me and other customers for about 3 minute, not even looking up from their tasks of folding a bag and taking food from the window... And then my salad came out wrong with the sauce on the ahi. When noted that, the lady says “yeah it is there.” (What kind of observation is that? WHO communicates like that to a customer?) So I told her that I can’t eat mayo and that they got the order wrong. She was very rude after that and mocked my voice (I have a vocal cord issue, so her insensitive remark was extra inappropriate. And when I told her why I couldn’t speak louder, she made a weird face at me...!) So, I walked away to remove myself from this rude encounter and go to my vehicle…5 min later I stood at the counter and she ignored me again, obviously trying to use her “power” to snub me. (She also ignored other customers but she was especially rude to me…One customer asked if he could “have a wet napkin to wipe the table…Ok, I didn’t know you have to bus your own table if you dine in.) There was another young lady working who was nicer but less experienced. She tried to help but there seemed to be a communication issue with them as well. I finally got my order 25 minutes later (so 40 min from the original order.) It it just incredible that a place with such excellent food would have such inept service. It takes so little to communicate and be kind. This one person who is front-and- center in the restaurant is allowing her ego to get in the way of doing her job, which is to communicate with guests. The food was good as always but next time, I’ll stick to Fish 101.
Great fish n chips spot with good poke, shrimp and more. A great alternative to Fish 101, if you don't feel like driving to the coast.

Great friendly service but the fish and chips was disappointing. The batter on the fish was far too thick and thin slithers of fish that was a bit too chewy - signs that it wasn't fresh. Chips were overdone. Was expecting much better based on all the good reviews here. Will not be back.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at this fish and chips restaurant, and I must say, it exceeded all expectations. The crispy golden batter on the fish was perfection, revealing flaky, moist fillets inside. The fries were equally impressive—crispy on the outside, tender on the inside. My wife had their poke bowl and grilled fish and kale salad. She said they're flavor-packed delights! Quick service and a welcoming atmosphere make this place a must-visit for satisfying cravings. Highly recommended!

Quality of food is excellent. Weordered my favorite Calamari fritti and citrus kale salad and topped with grilled mahi mahi, so yummy! My husband ordered the steak taco, good flavor and tender. The tuna melt was good too.
The clam chowder and fish n chip are a must. The fish is fresh and doesn't have that fishy taste. Drinks do not come with an ordered meal and have to purchase separately. The establishment is clean

I have a bias of nostalgia but I really do believe my tastebuds that the poki here is so much better than places that use "poki" in the actual store name. The salmon and tuna have never failed me and I have never gotten stomach issues over any bowl. First time I ever ate kale was here and I couldn't understand why everyone thought it tasted bad. It's gotten more pricey over the years due to inflation so it's nice to just visit occasionally. Parking can get dicey during lunchtime.Parking: There's parking if you go far enough! (Wheelchair users not included)
