I love Happy Lemon, can never go wrong. They adjust sweet level / ice, and the drinks taste great. I usually get the C4 (Kumquat, no lychee) and it's such a treat friendly staff as usual, and most locations I've been to are usually busy. Their waffle puffs are also so gooood... this location in Carlsbad is perfect, at the mall.. grab your drink and shop! Great vibes!

This boba is consistent and standard across the board of happy lemon franchises, you're not really gonna get something weird here I noticed. I will say I wish they had the smaller size cup because the large is quite large (24 oz I think) and I feel bad not finishing it every time I get it. Get the classic milk tea w cheese foam, you will not regret!

Ok so I'm not new to Bobba teas and drink them often as it's just my thing. The establishment of this place is cool and very pleasant to the eye. It's located on the outside of the mall which is very convenient. The customer service definitely needs some help as you get people who greet you but just stare at you like hurry up.... and don't ask if you need help or assist making a choice. Customer service is key to customers coming back. I asked about a couple of items on the list the girl in the front today acted as if she new nothing about the drinks which is ok but don't give your customers the look as if they should know what's in the drinks when not obvious. They do have milk substitutes which is a plus. I got the winter melon classic tea from the series which tasted nothing like melon but more like a Carmel milk and no tea. The flavor ratio is all off at this place. Husband ordered a fresh squeezed hot tea nothing but lemon and nothing like tea. Son had the cold version of fresh squeezed lemon black tea and stated he tasted no tea in his but a sweet good lemonade. My other son got an Oreo smoothie which he just said it was ok and didn't brag about it as he often does if it's good. He said it ok I've had better. Wish this place had been better.

LOL I ordered a mango matcha but there's no matcha? i don't know if the worker forgot or if they ran out of matcha cuz like ?? I knew something was off but couldn't tell until I left lol so that was my fault but as the worker how can you call someone for their drink when half of it isn't in the drink.. and there's also a black dot thing in my drink?? First pic is what I got, second and third pic is what an actual mango matcha looks like from the convoy location

It's pretty alright. The milk tea with boba and salt cheese foam was good. Iced green tea was good too. Honestly it didn't blow us out if the water but it's nice having a boba place in the Shoppes at Carlsbad especially on a hot day. So yay for that.
Happy Lemon is delicious. It's just a bunch of punk teens but dang the recipes are great! The cheese bubble waffle with the salted cream dip is my fav combo. Also find myself consistently ordering the brown sugar boba tea with 50% ice and 70% sugar. We pay about $30 for 2 (huge) bubble waffles and 2 drinks plus tip. It has a single little bathroom and 4-5 tables inside with a few tables outside.By Sephora/yard house on the exterior of the mall. Side note: a Nashville chicken place is opening next door and I am soooo excited!

When I visited this Happy Lemon I was greeted by friendly employees.This time instead of getting my usual go-to drink (Salted Cheese Black Tea) I decided to try the Mango Matcha smoothie. The mango matcha smoothie tasted great! Even at half sugar level it was sweet enough for me. I will get this drink again in the future!
