This is my new go to place in Carlsbad. The food, drinks, and staff are all top notch! HH every day at 3:00pm, open for breakfast and will stay open late as long as there are people in the bar. If you haven't been here yet - you're missing out - just don't take my spot at the bar!!

Eek! Rated 5 stars but unfortunately does not foot the bill. If you're looking for a good breakfast, this is not the place. I do think the eggs were bagged, coffee not very good and service was not there - although the gal who served us was nice. Was regretful we spent any money here. They're not too busy in the morning for a reason.... perhaps their lunch and bar food is different.

Awesome new restaurant! Mainstream Bar & GrillWe just had an amazing breakfast at Mainstream Bar & Grill on Paseo Del Norte just south of Palomar Airport Drive. They just opened about a month ago.We were on our way to Tip Top, which was busy as usual, so decided to try something new. Both of us had exceptional breakfasts, meatloaf & eggs + omelet. Their biscuits are made fresh on site and delicious, fruit was fresh and plentiful, staff were kind and attentive. The food was very fresh and much better than typical diner food. We loved our experience and will be back

Main course came out before appetizers and some of us got food well before others. However the staff was very nice, management addressed the problems and did their best to keep everyone happy.

LOVE the new restaurant! Mozzarella sticks are legit fresh cheese rolled in their own batter and then fried. Burger was really good too. Lexi and Sunnie are super fun bartenders. Interior has definitely improved since they took over, lots more tv's to watch any game and a way better vibe.

Our waitress was pleasant and helpful. I ordered a BLT on a croissant. It was straight from the fridge. The croissant was not toasted. The huge slab of tomato was really chilled, The lettuce was the white stringy old part of the head and the bacon was precooked and not even warmed up. Additionally, I don't want to frighten you by describing my husband's burger.

This is a brand-new restaurant in Carlsbad CA between Palomar Airport Rd & Poinsettia off the I-5 3 of us decided to try it since we live in the local area. Met with a hostess who was smiling & very outgoing! This was our first time here. Breakfast, Lunch, Happy Hour w/BOGO appetizers, Dinner. Casual atmosphere, outdoor patio, free parking. think hours are 7am-9pm Sun-Thur Fri & Sat 7 am-11pm, Sunday 7am-8:30pm PH# 760-603 9672 6030 Paseo Del Norte 92011 The fried green beans were delicious! Burgers were cooked as requested; sweet potato fries yummy, large chef salad with dressing served on the side. Patio is pet friendly. It's has lots of small & large TV screens placed all over the restaurant with the sound very low so you can still hear a conversation. Excited to have them in the neighborhood!!!! Addl parking across the street too Think they are planning to have entertainment on the patio but not sure when. Hope you enjoy it here as much as we did. Heartily Recommend....a couple of tables with seating for 10 too. Wish them success ....we needed neighbor type restaurant/bar ......

New restaurant in Carlsbad area that you don't want to miss out on. Used to be the Seafire restaurant on Del Norte st. but these new owners have a little gold mine here. I would recommend the blue cheese burger, meatloaf dinner with fresh veggies or the fiesta salad , and best ever fried green beans . We missed out on the happy hour since we got their after 6:00 pm but will be back to try with BOGO free appetizers. They have a small bar area, and outside seating plus tables for large parties. We'll be back soon for breakfast....welcome them to Carlsbad !

I thought with all the social media that was sent out it deserved a visit. Unfortunately the decor has not been touched, old, dark and dingy and gritty. We had a party of 3 and were told the tables were for parties of 5 or more we could go to the bar or outside, not very hospitable. We sat at the bar, the food is regular pub food, not bad nor great. The bartender never talked nor smiled once. The only saving grace are the prices, sadly not enough for me to ever return.

One stop is not enough to really review a new spot.... so some general overview thoughts. Wine and happy hour choices and prices.... really good. 2 for 1 apps... concept great, need and upgrade on quality and taste. Good not great. Potstickers a bit overcooked and mainstream tots need a very distinctive flavor. Burgers looked awesome and will try that next meal. Just a happy hour run through tonight. Standout was service, Miley was just great. Attentive and super energetic. Loved that for a new spot getting its footing. Good free parking and nice vibe. Go check it out, big upgrade which we need. And lastly, huge sports TVs from every table.... Nicely done.

New spot close by! This area needed a relaxed neighborhood bar. Great draft beer selection and big menu. We didn't eat, just drinks. Happy they can make my margarita with lime and agave upon request without me feeling spoiled. Just wish they had the big kosher salt and not tiny salt. Plenty of TV's in the bar and I can come back and watch my LA kings game here. Dog friendly patio that my gf is excited about. Can't wait for a welcoming and competitive happy hour menu so we can come back several times a week for drinks and bites. Kacey and Sunnie behind the bar were more than friendly. Hope this place becomes a hit and stays! PS, they have the big ice cubes for my old fashioned cocktails! Let's get some game time specials going so my crew and I can have a new place for the games!Parking: Just Uber and don't be stupid
