We stayed at the hotel as part of the Legoland vacations package. The hotel is right next to the park and because you stay there, you get early access to the park. Breakfast is included but still best to make reservations. We stayed in a Friends themed room with bunk beds for the girls. The girls had a great time and enjoyed meeting characters on site.

We just returned from a 3 day stay at Legoland hotel. FYI even if your flight gets canceled due to a HURRICANE, they will not credit your account unless you cancel the entire trip 5 days prior. We were stranded, and all they could do was offer to forfeit the amount of money. There were no comps or any other things happening at the hotel while we were there. Even the pool was closed. The front desk offered zero help for EVERYTHING. Example- our cable didn’t work, they said they’d send someone right up. In the three days we stayed we said something three times and yet, no one came to fix the cable. The staff at the restaurants were the best part of our stay, aside from the parks themselves. Also, I will add, we had trip insurance through Lego vacations. Just want to give a heads up for those families that save all year for a vacation, there’s no safe zone with their insurance. I’d stay elsewhere and just do the parks. Also, upon check the woman never gave us a run down of the scavenger hunt or play blocks in the room as well as where to go for anything. I had very high expectations given all the previous reviews and we all felt the huge let down, and will not be staying here again.

The moment we pulled up to the hotel Talon was there to great my family with a smile and great hospitality. We were able to drop our bags off with him and head into the park while the room was finished getting ready. Was able to check in early which was a blessing cause the kids were ready for a break. Our bags were delivered and we got to see Talon again. He was there with another smile and some suggestions to make our stay better. Everything was amazing! One of our best family trip in California. One suggestion is to make reservations in person as they tend to fill up online and that’s the only way to dine in the hotels for breakfast accommodations. 10 out of 10. Kids loved the hotel so much and were bummed when we had to leave. So glad we did the hotel package on site and not at a hotel away from the park with early access to a few rides the next morning. So much fun!

We bought a package deal for 4 for Legoland Hotel with a two day hopper for the park. We loved that we were right near the entrance to Legoland and the hotel was so creative and fun. The breakfast was included and was an excellent quality buffet. The pirate room was decorated so well, but much smaller than the photos and some upgrades for the master bedroom is needed. The lighting in the master bedroom was dismal and they need to install ceiling lights. The bathroom sink was beautiful but the bathroom was quite small. The lobby had fun legos and a small castle for the kids to play in. All in all we had a great time.

Save your money and stay away. Lots of broken things and no people to fix them. No front desk. No one to make a dining reservation with either. You’ll have to use open table for that. Early entry is worthless as it is only a half hour and no rides are open until 10 anyway. Walls are super thin and cheap. You can hear stomping all hours of the night.

King, who is a valet at the door, is absolutely the best hotel staff person I have ever encountered. He went repeatedly the second mile to be helpful. He made the LegoLand experience memorable. Actually, not much else about LegoLand was praiseworthy. Thank you King.

Stay away! Room was filthy, bedding stunk and no A/C in August. 15 rooms with no working A/C. Kids were tired from all day at the park and we couldn’t use the room for hours awaiting change of bedding and portable AC. Our eldest fell asleep in the restaurant. I asked for a new room, manager wouldn’t accommodate, I asked for a refund so we could get a close by room and the kids could get a rest, somewhere nearby with working A/C. Manager again wouldnt accommodate. No concessions for the inconvenience no real apologies or empathy. It took numerous phone calls and in persons to at least get the bedding changed and a portable AC. We have stayed here before and enjoyed it. Management has changed and you would be better off staying nearby.

We took the kids (6 and 4) to Legoland and stayed at the California Hotel. The overall experience was great. You are greeted by Lego pits the second you enter the hotel and you can just see this hotel was built with kids in mind. For a hotel that gets a lot of families with young kids, I was pleasantly surprised how clean it was, including the rooms. The walls and decor are Lego everything and the kids sleeping area (with bunk beds and a TV) is pretty neat. I loved that they offered Housekeeping every day and they even leave free Lego sets in the safe for the kids to take home. There are two hotels on site (California and the Castle) and as a guest you get access to both. The Castle Hotel has a great pool and playground area, including a giant outdoor movie screen and couches. One of the best features of the hotels, they are literally STEPS AWAY from the Park. You walk outside and you are right at the park entrance. So nice! If you are looking to visit Legoland, I highly recommend staying at the Hotel to get the full Legoland experience. Your kids will be very happy.

So much fun, hotel is amazing. Kids loved it sooo much. Highly recommend for family but bed situation can be tough with grandparents so double check this in advance. Service was amazing. Ask for Charlie.

Our boys love Legoland! They have been occupied for both days with different activities. Surprisingly, me and my hubby could even relax a bit! Thank you TYLER for all the help with ton of bags! Very nice and with great attitude!

I got a latte here and a mocha inside the park and in castle hill. I recommend getting your coffee here instead of inside the park because they have real Peet's coffee that is not watered down like inside the park. Although my latte was good, my husband ordered an americano and got 4 shots in a cup and had to explain what an americano was. I would still recommend coming here.

The room was well cleaned except for a section of carpet that was wet from spilled coffee from the previous guest. I used a towel and placed it there to absorb it while we were there. Some of the Lego statues in the room were damaged and missing pieces but the kids did not notice. I reported this to prevent a fine charge. The bathroom sliding door detaches the bottom baseboard in the kid's room when opened too hard. This is due to a door stopper misplaced in the wrong position. I reported this to a maintenance member and they said they were going to repair it on our first day but they never returned. I was really happy that breakfast is included throughout the stay. We will return again.

We were a party of 6 with 3 kids and 3 adults. My 13 y/o son has autism and it was pretty loud at times for him but we worked through it but it gets really noisy and loud, especially after the park has closed and everyone heads in. Its great for neurotypical kids with a lot of activities to do and things to see/play with. The hotel itself is VERY kid friendly which made things easier for all the adults ? the food is just okay. Talon, in valet, was extremely helpful and knowledgeable with the tips and tricks they gave us. And friendly, too, which is appreciated after being in the car for a few hours ? overall great time!

As someone who also works in hospitality myself the hotel was decent. We mainly went for the experience for our 4 year old son. Room cleanliness was okay, of course I understand this is a resort for children. Only reason for a low rating is when we got into our room, it was extremely hot. I texted the hotel and a timely answer was okay. I think I had expectations since I know that we are to answer a text within a certain time frame. After getting conformation that someone was on their way to assist, we waited for 40 minutes before I was told that they remotely fixed out thermostat. I wish someone had mentioned it to us so we weren't waiting. Secondly, we had requested additional blankets and pillows for our children and it took 2 hours before they finally brought it up to our room. They said it was delivered to the wrong room, which I understand it was a mistake but I had even confirmed my room number. So our younger ones nap times were pushed back 2 hours. Overall, it was mainly for the experience. Would we go back? Probably not. I will say though, the workers in the restaurant it the Castle hotel were nice and accommodating. Kevin was our busser in the morning and he was very nice to us. Made sure we were taken care of. Also our bellman Jimmy was amazing. Came promptly to our room to collect our luggage and met us downstairs. He was very nice and pleasant to talk to. He made sure we were all taken care of before we left the resort.

The hotel is pretty excellent! Comfortable rooms, friendly staff and lots of fun for the whole family. Plenty of options on the breakfast buffet and the dinner buffet was excellent! The pool was so warm, we loved it!
