The food was really good and prepared really nicely, but when it came to service, it was very slow. We had a birthday celebration, and the waiter didn't even notice until we had already paid.

We enjoyed our dinner. The room is nice and cozy. The service was excellent. The food overall was good. Our steaks were cooked properly, the sides and apps were solid. Nothing blew us away to earn five stars, but we enjoyed our meal.

Steaks were delicious! Service was excellent! Didn't care for the sparkling water, kinda flat (we don't drink alcohol nor care for mocktails so drink options limited). Don't waste your money on dessert. For such a nice restaurant they need to up their dessert game. Chocolate cake was like something I could buy at Vons. Cheesecake nothing special. In addition if you don't want steak, don't bother going. Your options are very limited. Overall nice dinner but they should take notes from West Steakhouse because it was way better. Also they need to update their website and show the current menu...not the one from Nov 2023. The menu online for non steak items is not what is offered now

I had the filet and scallops. Both were cooked absolutely perfectly. My cocktail was excellent as well. Service was fine but not quite what I expected for the price point. The sound from the bar area and TVs there bleed into the main dining area, making the ambiance a bit more casual than typical for steakhouses at this price point. All in all a delicious meal, service and ambiance could be better though.
A little off the beaten path but worth the time to get there. Many staff members know the clientele. Makes for a homey atmosphere. I spent $248 and $188 at happy hour my last 2 journeys there.

Polo was delicious! too good we couldn't wait to eat so didn’t get a picture but me and my fiancé got the porterhouse (for 2) with the potato’s and broccolini as our sides. the steak was cooked perfectly at medium rare and they do slice it into bite size portions for you. the potatoes were soooo crispy on the outside and soft on the inside! as well as seasoned perfectly. the atmosphere was calm and although there was a large party next to us, it was still private enough to have the most perfect date night with my fiancé ❤️ it is now on our favorites lists of places in SD. thank you for such great service and amazing food! i did get a pic of the desert though!

Excellent and knowledgeable service. Great food, the shrimp cocktail and bone marrow were excellent appetizers, the wedge salads were very tasty and the steaks were cooked to perfection. The bone-in ribeyes were very tender and tasty as were the filets. The short ribs and salmon were also enjoyed thoroughly. On-line menu listed maine lobster tails, but only split lobsters were on the menu in-house, which was a bit disappointing. We would have ordered more tails for the table if they had been available. But what we had was great.

So nice to see a steakhouse back in North County. Blake was a superb bartender. The vibe is still chill, sexy, and elegant. Our food server did not tell us about two items being absent from the menu, despite being asked if any off menu items were available (it did not trigger a memory); our waiter also forgot to bring our bottle of wine, up to 30 minutes after it was ordered (and our initial choice was not available, which we were informed of 10 minutes after ordering). Superb meals; substandard service in the restaurant.
