We really really wanted to like this place especially after the good reviews but oh man! It was so bad! Sat there for 40 mins and no one took our order- the food was not good, I asked for hot tea got cold tea. The worst though was the food! Presentation was great but the flavor was not there. Pretty disappointing overall :(

I have one word to say....LEGIT!!! This place is absolutely legit. So nice to have some legit cultural food here in Carlsbad!! The walnut prawns are the absolute best I have ever had and they are my favorite so that is saying a lot. Prices were absolutely reasonable for what you get. We did not have to wait and the service was perfect!!

One of our favorite restaurants on Convoy, now in Oside?! It felt like we won the lottery! Came in not too long after grand opening. Service is great, food is authentic and yummy. Tried a bunch of new things and loved them all! Well- I won't lie, the cold chicken dish was odd- but I wouldn't say bad! Excellent service and atmosphere.

We went twice in a single weekend. TWICE! Quick, attentive service with hot steaming, juicy dumplings on a cold windy night really feed the soul. Great location with shopping nearby.

First impression as I was walking up -- everyone dining is Asian, which to me, is an excellent sign. Server was friendly and efficient. Ambiance was casual, and my family of 3 dined here and no one seemed to have any issues with my 5-year old. Ordered: - #24 Shanghai sticky rice pork shiu mai: This was recommended by the server, but it was very filling. Good flavor, but the sticky rice makes a dense center, so I would not get it in the future. - #61 Shanghai style chow mein with thick noodles: Tasty! Great flavor, and I would order it again. - #92 Black pepper diced beef: Great flavor. Probably my favorite of the dishes we ordered. I would HIGHLY recommend this dish. I wish we would have ordered another entree just to go! - Kumquat honey lemon drink: This was on the sweet side, but I loved it Very tasty but could use less honey and would still taste great.

Very good food!! Our two servers were very nice and helpful. We come here all the time. Reminds me of Mira mesa asian food.

This place was absolutely delicious. The food itself is 5 stars. Their house wine chicken was some of the best chicken we had ever tasted even as a cold dish appetizer. The meat was moist, flavorful and had the perfect amount of chew to it. The dumplings and noodles hit the spot- great flavor and high quality. The only reason this place did not get 5 star rating was because service is a bit lacking. They serve you food and then kind of forget about you. I had to ask 3 times for water even though it was about 4pm and not very busy. With that said however, I will be back for more food based on how delicious it was.

So happy to have a Szechuan place nearby!! Ever since Spicy King in Vista closed, I've had to go down south for authentic Szechuan food. The tasty dry pot is a must have! I got the beef and it has a ton veggies in it also. Potatoes, green beans, cauliflower, mushroom, bean sprouts and more. I love spicy food and this was perfect spice level. Has that numbing effect that you get with Szechuan cooking. I also got the scallion pancakes, which were mostly for my toddler but they were also good. You get seasoned peanuts as a complimentary starter. Can't wait to come back and try more options!

Chinese food in north county is hard to find in my opinion but this place was not half bad! Parking is plenty here and the location is great near the mall and movie theater. The staff were very nice and attentive. I was most impressed with their fried buns (shen jian bao)-- very juicy on the inside and perfectly pan fried on the outside.
