Great place to visit, service good and good choice of beverages. I would recommend it when visiting Carlsbad, CA.

This place sucks and is a scam honestly. I paid $17 for fish tacos and the tacos had literally fish and lettuce that's it. The fish was a size of a quarter. I've never seen such little fish on a fish taco. Where is the fish? Avoid this place unless you feel like getting scammed. It was SO bad I had to make this review to let others know!

When we arrived we found there to be a bit of a line for checking in on a Monday evening however once we got to the front and Rebecca helped us we forgot all about the wait. She was so thoughtful, thorough and professional in explaining everything to my mom and I. My mom is recently been having to use a wheelchair and Rebecca was so intuitive that she asked my mom if she might need some other medical devices to make her stay more comfortable. We didn’t even know they had these things available and they were already waiting for us when we got to the room. Shower chair and toilet riser. The place was beautiful, large luxurious rooms with fantastic amenities. My mom said it was the most beautiful place she had ever stayed which brought tears to my eyes. The only thing I would suggest is more handicapped parking spaces. We had to park some dip from our from in the 61 building and with a wheelchair and luggage proved a challenge but again the only suggestion I would make. We stayed in the cove area and yes there was construction but I was only during the daytime and we were made fully aware prior to check in. As for the small amount of noise from Lego land we rather enjoyed hearing the beautiful laughter of happy families enjoying each others company while make memories.

Went here for a couple of drinks. Had a very non-tasty marguerita. Stick to beer if you go here.

For pool food, this is a very good option if you are wanting to do a relaxing pool day. The service is friendly and you can charge to the room or pay as you go. All of the items we ordered were delicious and freshly made, but we didn't really have high expectations since we were really just focused on having fun at the pool. We will definitely eat here again if staying at the Marbrisa.

There were some wonderful things about this hotel- but overall I don’t think we will return. The hotel is HUGE. HUUUGE. the shuttle service they offer is great- and Josh was SO nice. Our daughters (ages 4 and 1 loved riding with him) on our last ‘joy ride’ with him he played Disney music for the girls and he was just so nice to us!! He was fantastic and everytime we sent a text that we needed a ride he was very prompt. The pools were very nice, perfectly heated, not crowded, plenty of towels. The rooms were very nice! Our daughters 1 and 4 slept in one room and my husband and I the other. The kitchen had everything necessary to cook dinner and breakfast each day. Here were my issues; 1. I got locked in the bathroom. My husband kept the kids away from me so I could shower in peace and I locked the bathroom door when I went in…. But then… the lock was broken and I couldn’t get out. I didn’t have my phone and I had to wait in the bathroom until my husband returned. I called the front desk later and they offered to send someone immediately to fix it- but I asked them to fix it after we checked out as it wasn’t NECESSARY to lock our doors. The girl who I spoke to kind of laughed about it (as did I!) but overall- not a great experience to be locked in a bathroom. Haha We sent a text requesting to have our room cleaned and the text we got back was “we’re at capacity” and they said they only offered house keeping for people who stayed 5 days or longer. We stayed 4 days- and with kids- ugh! The floor was a mess! I was constantly using paper towels and crawling around on my hands and knees cleaning the floor with wet paper towels. We were only supplied a broom- Which was helpful. BUT man, I needed a vacuum! I just wish that if they don’t offer house keeping- they’d at least have a vacuum or some more cleaner options in the room. I felt like a pain in the rear texting the hotel for everything - so I ended up going to target to buy more trash bags, and dish soap. The food at the pool bar was… eh’ just okay. The bartenders were lovely, and everyone kind (though I did watch the line cook pick his teeth while cooking- ew) but the food offered there wasn’t very good. It was quick and easy- so we tried something different each time we came- but just stick to drinks and the soft serve ice cream. The best part about the hotel was the staff- everyone we encountered was just lovely. I just was disappointed that we couldnt get our room service when we asked for it- I would’ve paid for it! I just needed a vacuum and some cleaning product. And with young children, the size of the hotel was difficult. Where we were located it was challenging to get it the restaurants on site.

We had planned a nice getaway to MarBrisa after reading the Lovely description on website. We arrived to CONSTANT LOUD construction noise from BOTH the resort and Legoland from our tiny studio Villa which backs onto Legoland. there was a $27 per day parking fee (we are nowhere near ocean or a desirable traffic location- so ???? Why fee). There were no resort activities of interest. We had to DRIVE to the pools from our location because there was no direct pathway (instead of a 1/5 block it was a 5 block route). Also Palomar airport is next door so constant airplane noise. Will never return and hugely disappointed. Constant noise from Legoland rides and activities. See tree topping outside out balcony

Great little bar+grill!! There aren't alot of food options, but the ones they have are pretty delicious....Big problem is that there is ONE bartender and there's always a line (and it doesn't nove fast).....Other than that everything was great....

Lovely HGV resort , multiple pools, outdoor games, table tennis, pool table etc. We stayed in a modern, well appointed 1 bedroom suite in Cove section with pool views - very clean with full kitchen & washer/dryer. BBQ facilities available just outside pool gates. Cove pools have food & drink service. Car recommended due to location.

Do not truly take care of the customer, even if you've spent a couple thousand for a week. Our room was infested with ants and the management did not seem to care. I would not recommend to family or friends.
