We had a great time overall and do plan to come back during the day to experience the view in a daylight. The food was great - we ordered Calamari, Salmon and Chicken curry. The place was busy and our order was mixed up which is understandable. This was not a big deal given the overall great experience we had. Our waiter made up for the small glitches and we appreciate him.

The food was pretty good although they were out of most things on the menu. It was freezing inside, the service was slow and they forgot to bring out steak knife, spoon for sides, etc. They did comp part of the meal for bringing out the wrong one. Super nice and friendly though just expected a little more for a nicer dinner.

Service was terrible . I had a steak $55. I would say it wasn't even average. It was something you might get at an Applebees. They didn't have a liquor menu . They eventually printed out on plain printer paper a whiskey list. I don't see us ever going back.

Food was okay and service was okay. It took a while before we got seated even thought we had a reservation. Also service was okay, we felt like we got forgotten...It took a while before we got our food, and drinks... regular hot coffee got cold and cocktail drinks was water down..It wasn't busy, but our server was all over, i think she only had 3 table and she still took a while to get back to us, and by the time she get back to us is either the food and drink neither hot or cold...would i recommend to friends....maybe=(

The wait staff tried their best; they were clearly understaffed (which they say at every stay we have had over the years). Half of the restaurant had no lighting; guests were dining in the dark with their families. The space had zero music and one could practically hear a pin drop outside of complaints of incorrect orders. It would be awesome to provide the staff the support and electricity they need as they seem to really try to make an effort.

The menu is limited, the hours of operation are short and sitting outside the amount of aggressive birds trying to steal food makes your dining experience chaotic.

Vue is a fantastic restaurant. The view of the golf course and hills is amazing. The food is absolutely wonderful and the staff are all delightful. My family really enjoyed our visit. We will return.

Food was fresh and very tasty. Beautiful atmosphere on porch overlooking the golf course. A few big birds were a slight nuisance flying in to look for crumbs when diners finished and left tables, but wait staff appeared to keep them away effectively.

I was recommended by a friend and was actually disappointed. The ambiance is really stark with all the white tables and chairs and it is too bright with all the lighting. We sat next to the fireplace which was nice, but for its potential, it was underwhelming. We had good service but I had the sea bass which was a very small piece for $42 and it was served with cole slaw? with no dressing? Seems it could've been with asparagus or mashed potatoes? Just not a nice plate for the price. The cheese bread was really underwhelming and the signature apple desert was super small. My husband got the short rib tacos which he said was good and my daughter got the burger which she said was average. I think mostly it was the ambiance, which was cold and uninviting and the sea bass dish that was really not special. I order sea bass or halibut all around town and this wasn't one that I would recommend.

Food and service was excellent! The views of the Omni La Costa golf course are amazing. It is a family restaurant so noise level can be a little high, but to be expected with kids. Overall great value and terrific breakfast spot!

We ate brunch on the patio. The food was excellent. Coffee was lukewarm. Service was very good. It's a pretty, relaxing spot and we enjoyed ourselves-- however...there was a huge group of birds (Starlings?) that amassed themselves, cackling and begging, atop the sun canopies over the tables. They intermittently dropped down to the diners to try to steal food. It was all very distracting, since there were so many, and none of the staff seemed to notice. I imagine they are immune to their presence, but the resort should take steps to make it less hospitable for the birds atop the patio with netting, whirlygigs, sound projectors or anything that scares them off so people can dine in peace outside.

There’s too little food. For $100 you sure don’t get much. What food served was delicious.

This was the best experience I've had at a breakfast spot. The view is so beautiful and the food is incredible. You have to try the croissant waffle. It is hands down the best waffle I've ever tasted, like better then a croissant/pastry/waffle from Paris. The waiter was so nice and accommodating. Highly recommend!

View of golf course was beautiful, food not so good . Tritip sandwiches was so salty unable to eat it. Halibut tastes good but was dry and proportion was small. Wine was very expensive for the quality. Don't go there if you want adult time , children out numbered adults and it was nap time !!!

I hosted a post-wedding brunch here with about 24 people. The service was fast and the food and drinks were delicious. From the planning, I was met with quick responses from the group catering team lead that answered all of my questions. I was able to have my wedding flower arrangements from the night before which was appreciated. Even the room service from this restaurant was delicious. The golf course is under construction but the noise cannot be heard from the outdoor patio at all.
