I went in the store as I had not realize it was the owner who just walked out. I thought she was a customer but she decided to have us come in before she goes to the bank. I already decided what I wanted before going in but before I could I find the item, she handed us a sea salt caramel sample. I love how all the chocolates were in the box but wished there was an open box to see how they look like.

I stopped in on a day trip to Carmel and was captivated by these truffles. The staff was helpful and offered us samples of sea salt caramels and mint truffles. I have tried a lot of truffles, but I was seriously blown away by these. They were rich and creamy, but not cloyingly sweet. We also left with the wine truffle box. The wine truffles were soo delicious. The store also had beautiful cards from a local artist, which I'd been looking for. Everything was a reasonable price point and well worth it. Will definitely be stopping by again next time we're in the area!

I always stop by here when visiting Carmel to pick up some yummies. I love the toffee and sea salt caramels. The caramels have the perfect chew to them and the toffee's almonds are perfectly roasted. Highly recommend splurging a bit here.

I was disappointed with the box of truffles I bought last week. I guess I was hoping the various flavors would pop and be more distinctive from the other. To be fair, it's possible the flavors are meant to be subtle which really isn't my preference when it comes to chocolate.

Lula's Chocolates is amazing. And you can find it at many specialty stores as well as most Whole Foods. But if you come to their home factory store, you can find special chocolates not available in stores and hard to find chocolates, too! Well worth the trip if you're in Monterey, CA!FOOD: Again, it's all amazing. My favorites are the dark chocolate turtles, the dark chocolate rocky road, and the dark chocolate peanut brittle (do you see a pattern here?).SERVICE: Incredible. Obviously as the headquarters they have a passion for their product. But more impressive is selling isn't their trade but they are helpful, patient, and more than willing to help. And who could argue with their great selection?COST: Normal for their product. Best deal though is the imperfect chocolates you get at a discount. They may look imperfect, but they don't taste it!

The dark chocolate rocky road we got at this place is excellent. They use really good quality dark chocolate and the ingredients taste very fresh. It looks like they have a place closer to where we live, so I expect to visit there soon!

My fiancé and I worked with Victoria to get some Sea Salt Caramels as wedding favors for all of our guests and it was such a great experience! Victoria worked with us to get our initials and wedding date printed on the box and made sure it was just what we wanted. We cannot wait to see the finished product in September and would 10/10 recommend Lula's Chocolates for any special occasion or just a daily treat! They put a lot of love in to what they make and you will fall in love with anything you taste from there!
