The best part of this spot is the service - top notch and attentive!!!The food was good , old fashioned seafood, not very creative.Oysters were delicious (Canadian) they were large and were served with traditional cocktail sauce (normally enjoy the smaller oysters with some mignonette on the side)The portions are enormous ! We got the fish taco which was extremely filling. Their thousand island dressing is fresh and does not taste bottled.Pretty standard food but lovely service!Outdoor patio is dog friendly !

Every time I travel to this area from SoCal, I always stop here to eat! Hands down some of the best seafood I've eaten! Servers and market staff are also very friendly and informative!

I wanted to love this spot but ended up feeling meh, here is why. I'll start with the good. Note I mention menu price, which I found out when I used a credit card included at 3.99% "cash discount" so the charge on your card is higher than your bill. Did not love this! Maybe it was printed on the menu but I missed it until trying to understand the $98 bill I got and the $110 total credit card charge (before tip!). Calamari strips were so good, tender thick strips fired deep golden. So delish. $16 Salads that can with entrees were wilted, got the feeling they had been sitting ready for service for hours. Clam chowder in a bread bowl had a finicky taste to it I could not put my finger on. Rare is there a chowder I don't want a second bite of, this was it. $19 menu price Entrée of broiled snapper with veggies and a baked potato. The potato was so small, finished in 4 bites. The snapper was fresh and light, well seasoned if a bit buttery. Veggies were cauliflower and broccoli steamed crisp and lots of butter. Overall nothing special, but fresh $26 menu price Kids pasta with butter, appreciate that this was not on the menu and portion was good for my child, she couldn't finish it. Maybe they charged me $10 for it, not sure 2 glasses of Chardonnay, $10'each, the first was good and second tasted cloying sweet and cheap, I think I got switched for the cheap house wine. When I asked for a second glass the server asked what I had. Mind you there was only one other table in the restaurant and I told her I couldn't recall the name but it was second on the list. Did not enjoy the second glass but didn't feel like making a big deal about it. Kids both has a Dr. Pepper. Total price $125 for dinner. 1 adult, 2 kids. Ambiance is interesting, fish market with tables. Kids thought it smelled weird, well, yes that's a fish market. Wouldn't go back.

Small quaint dining area. An amazing selection of fresh fish to take and cook at home. The dine-in menu is very extensive. Everything was wonderful. There were eight of us and everybody said their meal was fantastic and cooked to

This is a regular stop in my dining rotation. The seafood is fresh. There is a retail counter and a casual table service dining room. The fish and chips are excellent. Maybe the best I ever had. Prices are moderate. Not fancy but consistent. You can get most fish done are variety of different ways. The clam chowder is tasty too. Indoor and outdoor dining. No reservations bit they get you through quickly. Some of the staff has been there for too many years to count. Only negative is it's a long walk to the restroom!! Give it a try!! You will want to go back!

A good place to get a unique experience where half of the place was restaurant and half was a seafood market. We tried their seafood combo and it was great. Staff was very helpful and attentive

I have dined at the Miss Landing restaurant, and the Monterey restaurant. Both are wonderful with Fresh Locally caught fish. Although the ambiance is not elegant, the food is so good I take out of town guests here. I look forward to the fish tacos!

always a nice place for fresh fish at an affordable price. we shared the petals sole special ($27.00) for lunch and it was more than adequate. not pretentious and really good for lunch and a takeout dinner.

HORRIBLE SERVICE! The server there needs to be counseled about his attitude. If he is too good to serve people get out of the biz. Been there MANY times- bill runs $120 ALWAYS tip 25% .. more for the server assistant & fish counter gentleman but this time we walked out… not going to a place where the server acts like we are a huge inconvenience for him. Also, being a local and talking about this situation was told rumor has it at the crossroads that he doesn’t wash his hands after using the lavatory. Gross! There’s too many places to choose from to get treated like that when you’re paying good money!
