After navigating to the side door to get in, all was fantastic. I feel lucky to have found an off night at this amazing place. Crispy potatoes and polenta was outstanding. Torn between a handful of great steak picks, I opted for the filet with blue cheese, grilled to medium rare perfection. Very nice server and friendly bartender. A truly great dining experience. The only suggestion would be to dim the light for the back room behind the bar. It is quite blaring when someone goes in/out. Otherwise, would have enjoyed a gelato or something cinnamon as a light treat after.

We just happened to find the place while having a different restaurant in mind. What a gem we stumbled upon. They specialize in Wagyu steak, cooked to perfection, steak that melts in your mouth, with great selections of food on the menu and drinks to pair with your meals. Our favorites: Spinales and Denver steak and their fresh salads! The owners are hands on and ensuring customers leave happy, they are warm and welcoming…service is great! Beautiful small atmosphere. I recommend reserving a table for a special occasion. Once the word is out, the wait may be longer… Don’t leave without trying the chocolate dessert…….Delicious!!! It’s one of my to go places for a great steak dinner!

Nestled in the charming town of Carmel, BreadSong isn’t just a bakery; it’s an experience. Their sourdough, with its tangy notes and perfect crumb, speaks volumes of the love and patience poured into each loaf. Whether you're a local or just passing through Carmel, BreadSong is a must-visit. Cheers to BreadSong, the unsung hero of Carmel's culinary scene. Until my next visit!

Everything single item on this menu is divine, staff are knowledgeable and thoughtful, and the atmosphere is the perfect combination of class and comfort. My husband and I ordered everything, and loved every bit of it. Blue cheese salad * Jewish artichokes (lemon aoli is phenom) * Breadsong bread with herbed butter * Wagyu filet mignon * Cowgirl rib-eye * Japanese sauce flight * Brussels sprouts & Wild mushrooms * Duck fat fries * Sticky toffee pudding. Cocktails and the wine list are on point too This is THE local date spot and my husband and I can't wait to return.

What a lovely atmosphere for a delicious Wagyu steak! The setting is beautiful and cozy and the steak was divine. My companions were the steak enthusiasts and their choices were the Spinalis and the Cowgirl Ribeye and both were prepared to perfection. The salads and the appetizers were ideal for a me. The blue cheese salad and the avocado salad were fantastic with crisp butter lettuce and yummy vinaigrettes. The fried artichoke came with a delicious aioli and was very gently fried and well presented. The waitstaff was attentive and knowledgeable and the wine impressive and reasonably priced. An excellent evening tucked away in the Crosswords of Carmel.

Unbelievable restaurant. The steaks were out of this world, and the service was impeccable. Definitely one of my favorite places in Carmel.

Unparalleled Expertise. This restaurant basically only serves one thing. Steak. And honestly, that’s because they know they are the best at it. They serve the kind of steak that melts in your mouth. Personally, I recommend reaching for the Spinalis. The Ribeye was delicious, but the Spinalis was unlike anything I have ever had before. I will dream of this steak until I have it again. Five stars, hands down.

The food was incredible & the service was better. Michelle answered all of our questions and made us feel so welcome. The Burnt Ends sandwich was top notch. Will be back.

What a great night! First of all, food is outstanding. Yes, it's pricey but it's not overpriced for what is served and where (Carmel) you are. It is a surprise given it used to be a "chain" bakery. We shared the housemade sour dough bread with amazing herb butter, fried artichokes (not at all what you expect), the Delmonico steak (cooked to perfection) and the flourless chocolate cake. (my dirty martini was also delicious!) We chose a good night... couple local celebrities in as well...fun to whisper about them! (yes, we left then alone) Good time...will definitely go back and bring friends. We were both a little surprised there weren't more diners on a Friday night.

A truly lovely evening out to celebrate a birthday. The restaurant is beautifully designed, with great attention to detail, and the staff made us feel very welcome. After carefully considering the menu, we decided that we couldn't go wrong with any of the choices. We chose to share the Delmonico steak, which was perfectly cooked to medium rare, with a trio of delicious sauces. From the first bite to the last, the steak was amazing! Luckily we saved a little room for dessert. The sticky toffee bread pudding was a sweet delight and the pistachio cannelloni had a perfect crisp shell and creamy filling. We are already looking forward to the next time!

OMG! Delicious! A gem of a place, opened in November and not yet discovered, for now at least. The owner, Hans, welcomed us in and the rest was exceptional service, cuisine, and atmosphere! I’m sure once the word gets out there will be a long waiting list to get in.Photo of the ceiling. Turn it upside down and it looks like a pool!Hans did the interior design himself! Unique and amazing!
