The food was amazing and the owner was so kind, great service. Plus no wait on a Sunday morning!

We sat outside with our pup. The server promptly brought him a dog bed and a bowl of water. Our server kept our glasses full and was very attentive. The food was good, we left happy.

The food was good but the service was mediocre at best. I never like it when a server reaches over me to pour, serve or pick up dishes. If anything, I'd recommend a little training to "serve on the right, clear from the left" protocol. Of course this only works when there is enough space around the diner and this small restaurant has plenty of space at the tables that I could see. If you're going to use paper napkins, at least use quality napkins that don't require asking for a 2nd or 3rd one. Think Vanity napkins you can buy in bulk. Carmel has a wonderful setting and if you're wanting to generate repeat customers by us locals, little details like this goes a long way, especially if you're wanting recommendations to stop by and try. We always have friends or family asking for new places to try.

Omg.. if you want a great breakfast with amazing food choices. This is the place. The server was very attentive and the location is quaint.

There is inside and outside dining. What a hidden gem! If you're outside they have outdoor heaters and warm blankets. The customer service was friendly and the food was delicious! Especially the huevos rancheros!

It truly is a hidden gem, we arrived thinking it was going to be overfilled with people but it was calming and easy to get a table. Service was great and the food was delicious. I had the huevos rancheros plate which was very tasteful and full of flavors, my boyfriend had the chicken and waffles. Both plates were yummy!

We had a wonderful breakfast! We made a reservation that morning. Eggs Benedict was amazing and husband loved the fried steak and eggs with homemade gravy. Not a fan of the special bacon, too much pepper for my taste. We wouldn't definitely come back again!

I always do enjoy the naming process of these places. Like, hey!, the freaking secret is out. Nice job. I'll tell you right now: this place is not so hidden. Like, you can see it right off the road, man! And trust, I suck at looking for things. Just ask my mom. So yeah, it was pretty good. Chicken and waffles with lavender butter. Um, yeah hell yeah! I like how they use big giant plates and put only a little bit of food on it, giving the appearance that you're only getting a small amount of delicious food. Well yeah, ya kinda are. Anyway, waitress was lit. Make sure you check in to get that Free High Five, baby. we sat outside. cold. brr.

Overall it was a very good experience. Food was delicious, service was attentive, and the vibe was great. Ok, yes the portions are small, but, food was nicely presented, and you could taste the delish outta it. I don't think I need to go into details of the two items we got. See pictures below. Recommend. Truly a hidden gem. :)

Worth the short walk, excellent food and friendly service! They want more words to post this review but that is the essence.

Food was excellent. Needed no salt/pepper, was filling and...and...educated me on a hot sauce sold at Smart & Final (Habanero by Mexican London). Sent what was already delicious breakfast to another level.

Food absolutely excellent. Enjoyed rack of lamb and seafood risotto specials. Warm and attentive service. Highly recommend.

I've eaten here close to 10 times now, and each and every time has been a delight. The service is excellent, the host, Dia, is warm and inviting, and the food is great. It is such a quaint and romantic place. I welcome change from the touristy spots down the street. I highly recommend this restaurant.

My wife and I ordered the Salmon Benedict and Chicken and Waffles. We shared and both dishes were perfect. Flavor and texture was phenomenal, nice and quiet outdoor seating next to a heating tower with great service (even our dog received a bowl of water and his own little doggy bed). Next time we are in Carmel, we will definitely visit again.
