Sushi at its finest. This unique sushi restaurant located directly across the street from Home Depot on Madison & Manzanita is owned by a husband and wife team. They have a smaller menu compared to other sushi restaurants. However, there were also chef specials which we had several and all were absolutely delicious. Had a very nice meal at Hito Yatai.First time since it opened. Always on a search for a good sushi bar with a selection of fish and a more traditional style of nigiri and fewer rolls. Edo style. We were pleasantly surprised to find chef Cam(spelling) very skilled and capable as well as the kitchen chef. I found this amazing little Japanese sushi restaurant and they had Hamachi Kama my favorite, it's the fish cheek grilled and so yummy! The service was great, I sat at the sushi bar and they talked me into some grilled eel sashimi, and provided great conversations. Definitely will go back if I'm ever in the area!
