“Their hours are narrow, but they let you order before they open online then fill order. That worked well for us. We got take out, but they have a nice place to eat in as well. Loved the dedication to serving food properly made. The crepe burst on one of our dishes and they remade it. We didn't ask they just did it. Everything was very good. We ordered way too much and have been eating leftovers for lunch. We wanted to try so many different dishes. Here's a few we tried that were so good. “Been to this locations twice and both times I have had a great experience. Many flavors to choose from, although I’m always drawn to the vanilla custard, it’s so creamy, and just delicious. They have a great selection of toppings. I’m sure no matter who you are. You can find something to top your yogurt with.The establishment is always clean. The staff is always welcoming, kind and helpful. This is easily becoming one of my favorite yogurt shops to visit when I have a hankering for a good old-fashioned yogurt.“

“Sunflower Drive In has THE veggie burger in California. It's called the Nut Burger or, if you prefer it to be a little larger with a flatbread instead of a bun, it's called the "Super" Nutburger. The patty is a housemade mix of nuts, veggie pulp, chickpeas, perhaps a touch of cumin in the flavor, and who cares what else all fried up into a patty shape and layered in a burger with fresh lettuce, onion, tomato and sprouts with a sauce. You can request cheese and or avocado. It's very filling with high quality ingredients. I have friends who live in the SF Bay area and Santa Cruz. We all agree Sunflower Drive In Nutburger patty is the very best veggie burger we know of. It's been around since the 1970s. They have haven't modernized much and that's just fine. Prices remain reasonable. The experience is largely the same. Walk up to the window (which may have a line during peak lunch hour and weekends), order, get your number and find a spot a share picnic table outside or climb the parking lot hill and sit on the curb. This is a time to chat, people watch, be amused by the Fair Oaks Village charm. Keep your toddler clear of any roosters because they have been observed aggressively defending the flock from clueless small people who think petting or chasing chickens is fun. This is not a time to get upset about waiting for your food in a rush. It ain't McDonald's and you'd be harshing the vibe to demand it“
“This place has reopened under a different name and very similar offerings. The management is incredibly nice, and the grocery aisles have plenty to choose from. They also have a counter serve restaurant in the back if the store with seating, and fresh baked breads that are delicious. They have freshly roasted rotisserie meats for shawarmas!“
“We recently ate here for the first time. Staff, particularly Ed the owner, are very friendly and accommodating. The small cafe is very casual, clean, and light inside. We both ordered the Strand's Salad with butter lettuce, pear, goat cheese, sunflower seeds, citrus viniagrette, and probably more. It was delicious. It would be my preference to have food served on regular plates with silverware, rather than plastic, when dining in. Plastic is fine for take-out, but not great for dining in. Just an opinion. We would recommend and we will be back.“
“A hole in the wall vegetarian spot in South Sac. Everything is pre-made and in warming containers behind a glass counter. I think they replenish certain items, but once they sell out, they are done. You just have to point and let them know what size you want. They speak a little big of English and usually friendly. I see the same lady for years.I love the fried tofu (mushroom, lemongrass and plain). I think it's 5 pieces for $1 now. It's a steal and they are well known for their fried tofu. I enjoyed the variety of flavors and texture. The sweet and sour soup with okra, tofu and vegetables is a must doing the cold months. I really haven't had anything I didn't like. The vegetarian char siu taste and look like meat. I don't know how they do it. I also like the spicy eggplant.You can order soup noodles like bun rieu or bun bo hue to eat in there or take home. They have few tables and usually empty when I'm there. They also sell a bunch of vegetarian dry goods and snacks.“
“My wife and I like to try new things so we decided to try out Pizza Twist. We mentioned to the server that we had never been to Pizza Twist and were recommended the Butter Chicken pizza and Spicy Lamb Kabob pizza. We ordered one of each in size small and OMG, they were soooo tasty! I have to admit I was a little skeptical to try these unique pizzas but I was so glad we did. You have to try this place but please don't order you regular combination or pepperoni pizzas, try something new!!!“
“This is by far some of the best vegan food I've ever tried. My non vegan partner said he wouldn't be able to tell it wasn't vegan. We got the Mac and cheese, jackfruit tacos, spicy chicken sandwich and animal fries. Everything was delicious!We picked up ourselves and the parking lot is small but easy enough to walk up to the window and get our food.“

The jackfruit had great flavors. The tofu tacos were on point. The rest of my family had meat and enjoyed every bite. The mango cucumber salsa was tasty. Great job providing great food for all plant based and meat eaters.“
