I love it when I show up that the love is shown and very welcoming. The vibe is very relaxing. The atmosphere is peaceful and friendly. No food sold here. But there is an empanada place closed on Sundays. I always like coming here. It keeps me coming back every time.

This place was amazing! The girl working was so nice and helpful and knowledgable. The decor is super cute and relaxing. They have plenty of seating inside and outside. We came after a storm on a weekday so it was fairly empty which we didnt mind at all. We tried a flight to get a better feel for all the meads, ciders and kombucha. We got the: Darkest Flower 4/5 Wild FLower 4/5 Self Care 5/5 Under the Sun 4/5 and two others I cant remember. The one memorable one was a cider I think that tasted like sake we didnt like but everything else was amazing. I ended up buying a growler of Self Care to take home and all their packaging is so cute I am definitely reusing it for a water bottle. I am back home and out of the dozen or so breweries and tap rooms we stopped during our road trip this was my favorite. I will definitely be back as it's only 3 hours away when I come back through Carpinteria!

The staff is amazing and very helpful. The atmosphere of the place is very welcoming and the patrons are always friendly. If you choose to take a battle or a few home if you return to fill the bottles again you get a $5 credit since you brought the bottle(s) back

Tonight was the second time we've been in here and even though I love some of the drinks, and the establishment itself is super cute, I don't think I'll ever be back because of how rude the woman at the counter has been both times. I've tried asking questions about the beverages, the food situation, and recent events and anything I ask has been met with nothing but a horrible attitude and short unhelpful answers. Super disappointing because it doesn't look like that's been other people's experience but not feeling like giving it another shot after this.

Was being ignored by the employee. Was standing right in front of him trying to make a purchase and he was not acknowledging I was there until I spoke up. He told me he would be right with me and continued to stare at another girl drinking. I had to wait until they left to get any help. I dont think it takes much to make one transaction. Much less just simply say "I'll be right with you" instead of having me stand there wondering if he saw me place my purchase on the counter.

Great beer, mead, cider, and kombucha selection!

This was the first time I been to an apiary let alone had hard Jun kombucha or a mead. I've had many varieties of kombucha but their kombucha is the best! If you are in town I recommend checking this cute quaint place. Grab a few cans and enjoy it after a long hike or run. Service was great also. The person there explained everything to me thoroughly and let me try as well.

The moment I stepped in, the ambiance captivated me, and the mead was incredibly rejuvenating! The bartender was genuinely warm and welcoming. This spot exudes fantastic energy! I stumbled upon it after leaving the empanada eatery next door, and I'm thrilled I did!

I really love this place for its healthy, unique offerings. It's so unique and special. They offering tastings and it's very earthy yet chic.

This place is a welcome surprise. I do not drink much like my sister and her friends but my boyfriend drinks so we tagged along. This place is cute. Many little plants makes you feel at home. The drinks are cute and tasty.

Delicious craft drinks, great vibes, and friendly service! Came on a Saturday afternoon right at opening and our beer tender was kind to serve us even a few minutes early since we were already around. They have draft hard kombucha, hard cider, and mead of course. Flights run at $24 after taxes. Great to share if you're tight on cash so you can have the experience

All hail The Apiary! If you’ve ever wanted to try mead, this is the place! With the guidance of Sir Miles, I sampled a few varieties. Both were delicious and had a fragrant aroma. I went with a few Darkest Flower/Avocado Blossom, and enjoyed them back in my hotel room by the sea. They have other “botanical beverages” (including cider and hard kombucha) here also, and you can hang out and interact in a patio area in the back. The Carpinteria Wine Company a few doors down is also fantastic. What a cool spot in such a cool little town!

I didn't think I was a big fan of mead, or of hard ciders and kombuchas, until I came here. I don't love sweet drinks, and every mead I've had in the past has been syrupy, heavy, and too sweet. NOT THESE! Three of us visited right as they opened on a Sunday at noon, we tried 8 or 9 things on tap, and our favorites were Pink Jasmine, Pinkies Out, and Drink Your Flowers (Turmeric, Ginger, Orange Blossom). One of the drinks had guava (I wish I could remember which one it was!) and it was the BEST bev I've had in a while. The vibe here is breezy and lovely (don't let the darkened front doors fool you), there's gorgeous art on the walls, and the back patio is so sunny and sweet. Fragrant, climbing pink jasmine and succulents frame the patio (which abuts a brewery, also delicious), small tables and chairs are arranged just inside a roll-up garage door, and outside in the sun.

Chill place to hang out and try hard kombucha and mead. Each small glass is $4 or you can get a flight of 6 for $22. There is limited indoor and outdoor seating, some parking available on site. This place is part of The Row, which is a collection of food/drink shops, including a Turkish cafe, wine bar, and empanada kitchen. You can sit at one place and order from another shop and they deliver to you. There is live music on some Saturdays.
