Food was alright my only problem was I was charged $5 for a half ounce cup of fish sauce. If you don't know what fish sauce is it's basically a condiment as well as very high prices for everything

I am a Thai food fanatic and I was excited when this little family owned business opened. I had heard that it is good but a bit pricey. I agree that it is slightly more expensive than its competition in the area (Siam Elephant, Meun Fan Thai, etc), however, their portions are a good size and delicious. The interior is simple with minimal decor. It appears to be more of a take out spot. Nonetheless, the staff is super welcoming and friendly.I came in for midday for the lunch special which comes with an entree, soup of the day or salad, white rice and a crispy wonton. The soup was Tofu Tom Kha, very flavorful with coconut milk, slight acidity from lime juice and a hint of fish sauce. I ordered Pad Thai with cilantro added as my entree. The tamarind sauce was not overwhelming and the noodles were nicely cooked. I also appreciated that it came with white rice which is abnormal for a noodle dish. All the all, a great Thai spot in Carpinteria with a lunch special that is worthwhile.

What a nice little spot we happened upon in our travels last night! Great menu and such nice folks. We had a long talk about stuff and things after we'd finished our meal and walked away happy and full. A flat screen showed a video of street food in Thailand and it really enhanced our dinner - so beautiful and interesting for those who haven't been, and so familiar and lovely for those who have. If I were to change a thing, I'd put a dimmer switch on the lights. It was pretty bright for a dinner crowd.Parking: Parking is easy in this well tended little strip mall.Wheelchair accessibility: Flat, level entry with clean large bathroom right by the counter (not behind the kitchen)

What a great little restaurant. The staff were so friendly and so polite. The Tom Yum soup was delicious and the Chicken Pad Thai was yummy. Very affordable. Great service, very clean, fast, and good taste all around.

Having had a very nice experience when we first ordered from this delightful local business, we decided to give it a second (closely followed by a third) try. This time we tried the Drunken Noodles with Tofu, the Basil and ginger chicken, and the fried wontons. Let's just say I plan to try pretty much everything on their menu. This order was, as with the first order, obviously made from fresh ingredients and lovingly prepared. Very tasty. And I've never been a fried wonton fan but I am now. Service was great in this busy but friendly environment. And, as with the best of local merchants, I got the feeling of being a "regular". I wish these folks continued success. Til next time.

The server here was attentive and nice. 5 star this place is not, but their food is good. Their Hot & Sour Soup was actually neither; not Hot or Sour but actually with a sweetness to it and with vegetables that are customary to this soup. It was good, but not your traditional hot & Sour that everyone thinks. Had their Pad Thai with Shrimp, which was good, but not 5 star good. Their appetizer sampler was underwhelming in taste unfortunately.

Food is amazing! I love the hot ginger tea! My favorite dish is the mixed vegetables with chicken. Great customer service. Highly recommend!

This is a family owned restaurant with amazing dishes. We ordered the chili eggplant with steak, Kom Kha soup, and golden egg rolls and had the sticky rice with mango for dessert. Everything was delicious, and the service was excellent!! I will definitely return here when I'm in the area.
