I ordered the special last nite a chicken dish I have never gotten a worse meal ever the chicken was like a leg with very little meat on it mostly bone and some oven cooked carrots so little meat and difficult to eat just cutting off small pieces I must be the cheapest thing to purchase real upset to pay for such a simple thing as chicken and was suppose to be a three course dinner never got the third course I have never written a letter such as this as the owners should listen to complaints do a better job

We were offered a place outside in February. The installed heaters, however, failed to warm up the place. So we had to sit there in our coats. The starter was a Mardi gras special. Good, but really tiny. For the main course we had fish. Both were way overcooked. One had a sweet sauce, which was horrible. The other one came with green beans, where the tips hadn't been removed. As a side we ordered a cauliflower risotto, which was completely tasteless. Given the price of it all this review isn't a recommendation but rather a warning. There are many better places in Carpinteria to choose from

5 stars all the way. Place was packed on a Sat night. The ambiance and lighting was perfect. We each had two cocktails and got the rice balls, grilled artichoke, halibut piccata, brisket w/polenta, and the olive oil chocolate cake w/sweet cream gelato on the side for dessert. Spent 220 after tip. The olive branch and dos hombres cocktails were outstanding. And so was every dish. Finished every last bite. Can't wait to come back for happy hour.

On September 1 2023 we went to Little Dom's seafood in Carpinteria for a light dinner. We arrived at 3:58 PM. We thought they might have a happy hour, but she said the waitress that no they don't have happy hour so we ordered two glasses of wine, and we ordered a bowl of gumbo, we then stayed about an hour and finished our wine and the gumbo. We both shared the dish and paid her bill and left and went to our condo. About two hours later I got so sick. It was the worst sickness I've ever had in my life I was up pretty much the whole night puking and I thought I was gonna die. It was that bad. My girlfriend took care of me in the morning still feeling sick we just drive home I was sick for two days. I called the restaurant the next day to tell them what it happened and the girl that answered the phone who is the waitress said she would have the manager call me which I never received a phone call back , I just think it's very irresponsible to not call your clients back when they're sick from your food both my girlfriend and I will never go back there and every time we drive by it we want to yell out the window don't eat the gumbo . I'm not sure if anybody else got sick on it but I'll never have combo ever again

I've never been to Little Dom's, but Joel, a friend of mine told me about this new hot spot in Carpinteria! Be sure to check out their nightly specials as they change every night! (Oh and the ambience is great for date nights!!) will be back. Service is impeccable!

We were happy to find vegan options at this seafood place. The Fish piccata and oyster po boy were delicious. also enjoyed the smoke fish rillettes which we had never had before.

This place was amazing. The best meal we had on our 5 day trip winding our way between L.A. and San Francisco. My husband had a delicious fresh caught local fish with amazing garlic potatoes, while I was blown away with the fantastic blueberry pancakes, Kir royale and great tea selection. Located on the lovely central walking street of Carpenteria . . . where we were able to wander down to the beach and back to work off those calories. Really nice atmosphere—wish we'd come for dinner the night before. Definitely next time we'll plan that out.

Everything we ordered was perfect. Best pizza sauce I've ever had.

I'll start by saying the vibes in there are awesome; I'd go back for a couple martinis... HOWEVER...The $21 burger was burnt, the $30 fish was extremely dry, $21 shroom po boy was dry, bland and the fryer oil tasted old as hell, side salad was soggy and had about a handful of salt in it (and I'm one to eat pretty salty food) they charged us $16 for a kids meal after telling us it was $10; it was a small plate of flavorless spaghetti and meat sauce. The cocktails were mid. But the ambience? Enough to bring me back...but again, not for food. Not proportionately priced for the lack of quality. (And yes I'm taking inflation into account; ingredients are expensive so don't overbook yourself and overcook your food cause people will notice they are getting ripped off:)
