Stopped here on an impromptu trip with my wife at the beginning of a quick Santa Barbara trip. We spent quite a bit more time here than anticipated. The staff were very friendly and the wine was pretty tasty! My favorite part was the wall of records and they encouraged us to select something to play over their HiFi system. Look forward to stopping in again.

Rincon Mountain Winery Tasting Room is an awesome spot in Carpinteria for getting together with friends and drinking great wine! All the wines are amazing and you're sure to find the wine you enjoy the most. For first timers I definitely recommend getting the flight. The service is amazing and they'll give you the background on each wine the pour and how it's made to give it their unique flavors. The setup of the place also has a beach town feel. Located right next to the salt marsh, it's a the perfect spot to meet up with friends.

Don't pass by Carpinteria on the way to the bigger name wineries because you will be missing a gem. This winery is at the perfect size right now. Family owned, good variety, value their patrons, and know all their members by name. Local owners that are epitomizing the local small beach town vibe of Carpinteria, even playing vinyl records while you taste. The service is excellent. I can't say enough great things about this winery. My only regret is my wife has the membership and not me, so this is "her winery" and not mine! They also have cider. The pink granny is delicious. Don't forget to check that out while tasting the wine!

Excellent wines, super friendly and knowledgeable host (Winemaker’s brother-in-law), and fantastic music on vinyl in a chill atmosphere. We became wine club members on our first visit! Go! This place will not disappoint!

This family owned winery has delicious wine and great vibes. I even joined their wine club. If your in Carpinteria or on 101 stop by and give them try. They have an amazing vinyl collection and the wine is local and delicious.

Great wine tasting, nice venue, super friendly staff, and amazing record collection. What more can you ask for? We loved our stop into this cute little tasting room and definitely recommend it if you are in the area. Love that it is a local and family business!

Fantastic wines in a warm, convivial setting. We loved the tempranillo and bought two bottles. The Rhone white blend was excellent as well. Our server was knowledgeable about the wines and even sent us on our way with a great recommendation on where to have lunch! Way better experience than some of the pretentious Santa Barbara tasting rooms.

Fabulous wines! I enjoyed it thoroughly and Jill, the owner, was so helpful with local things to see and do, plus info about visiting Paso Robles, where they grow their grapes. Just go ?

Easily my favorite tasting room in greater SB. I found this place the day I moved into my new house and became a member in between loading/unloading belongings. Great variety of wines, friendly staff, and a beautifully done tasting room with a vinyl accent wall. If you're a member, you get 4 free tastings anytime you stop in (don't forget to tip!) and they have quarterly pick up parties on Rincon Mountain with fantastic views

The only winery I am still a member of after having many memberships all over Santa Barbara county wineries. I'm proud to say I'm a member of a Ventura winery, who produces some high quality wines especially blends.

It doesn’t have a ranch. It’s a carpark location on a railway track. The knowledge of the server was great, and wine quality fantastic

This winery has some great tasting reds! I especially enjoyed their Estate Tempranillo. It was full bodied, earthy and had notes of vanilla, cherries and chocolate. What more could a girl ask for in wine. The Syrah had notes of lavender, violet and grapes. A little drier, but still left a nice finish on the palette. Thanks to my friend who has a membership here; I was fortunate to visit their private Mountain top winery. Unfortunately, it is members only that have access to this beautiful place. The views at the top are priceless! Between the coastal views and the breathtaking Mountain View's, it really felt surreal. The grounds provide plenty of seating, an outside kitchen area for those who want to bring their own food, or you can order pizza ahead of time. The pizza is made in their wood burning oven, and delicious! There's so many good things to say about this winery, but I will wrap it up by saying my visit left me wanting a membership here. I can't wait to return!

Tastings: $15 - $20/person, depending on tasting (waived with any 2 bottles purchased/person) First visit to this family owned/operated wine tasting room located in Carpinteria, with their vineyard located on nearby Rincon Mountain. Cool vibe entry area, with a large, garage-like back room and outdoor tasting areas. Parking available both on street and in private lot. WINES: We were fortunate to have Christian, co-owner with his sister and brother, pour for us and the service was top-notch. While we weren't a fan of the 2019 Porch Sipper Rosé or the 2019 Sauvignon Blanc, we could tell they were well-made wines, just a little on the bright/acidic side for us. The three reds we tasted were A-MAY-ZING! They were the 2016 Tempranillo, 2016 Dusty Vinyl (Syrah, Mourvedre, and Grenache red blend), and a 2017 Barbera. Fantastic flavors with well-balanced tannins. We took advantage of the waived tasting fee and took several bottles home with us. They also sell wines by the glass, $13 white and $16 red. Of course, they also have many other wines available for purchase, and if I remember correctly, you're welcome to bring your own snacks/food to enjoy with their wines. On top of everything else, Christian provided guidance/recommendations on several restaurants in Carpinteria, and we chose the one he most highly recommended, and it was a great choice (read my review for "Teddy's By The Sea"). We thought that this little extra touch of service is what you'd expect when earning a 5-star review. I highly recommend a visit to Rincon Mountain Winery's tasting room!
