This is such a lovely little spot to sit out on the patio and enjoy some good food and drink. I would say you'll need to go multiple times to try everything. We did have one issue with a cocktail we had ordered, but other than that, it was all great. Will be returning, for sure.

My husband and I stopped here while coming to Carpinteria for the day. It was our first time coming to this restaurant so we were very excited to try their food after seeing good reviews. We got the potato chips appetizer that had this delicious onion bacon dip! I definitely recommend getting that if when you come here. For food, I got the spicy chicken sandwich and it was delicious. Full of flavor and just enough sweetness to calm the heat. My husband got their burger that was nothing but juicy and delicious. We will definitely be coming back to Teddy’s by the sea!
The food was very good. I had the fish and chips. The fish was excellent the batter was just a little heavy. My wife had the shrimp and grits and it was outstanding. Service was excellent as was the atmosphere.
Avg food, felt a bit let down because reviews were overwhelmingly great. Only one waiter for the outside patio section, so the dude tried his best and was great. Just felt let down and perhaps the restaurant is critically understaffed on a Saturday night.

It was so delicious we had to eat here twice, on a three day trip.Fish tacos!!The margarita was very well poured.The atmosphere was just amazing we had our kid's and they felt at home.A must try if like us you're a Call Stacay tourists. I've been here 25 years and feel like I'm just getting started
Oysters on the half shell were delicious. Very fresh, light, and delicate. The cocktail sauce and horseradish were tasty. A vingarette was served as well. That went surprisingly well with the oysters. My daughter, who is not a fan of raw oysters, tried a couple and actually liked them. That's saying a lot. Definitely recommend the oysters. We had the Calamari. It was okay, not great. I had the wagyu beef sandwich without the jalapeño mayonnaise. The medium rare was cook was perfect. My daughter has the cod fish and chips. The fish was light with ample batter. The pineapple coleslaw was in interesting change from regular coleslaw, and not too sweet. We took flourless chocolate cake to go. When we did have it a few hours later, the cake had held up well. It was rich, moist, and had a smooth chocolate flavor. All-in-all, I would recommend Teddy's by the Sea.

We sat outside - chilly but they offered to turn on a space heater. Good for a frw minutes, but itvran out of propane. They were great about replacing itvquickly. Food very good, butvwaiter hroughtvone wrong dish. He was appropriately apologetic and brought a free dessert for it. Priced comparablebor a bit better than competitors. I'd def go again
