It seems like it's out if business, was a great place for tofu soup, too bad it's closed now

Surprisingly good hole in the wall Korean restaurant in Compton!I had no expectations coming to this restaurant as I had driven past it for several years - mostly while working. Walked in for the first time and it turned out to be a goldmine of home style tofu soup and grilled fish. If you are in to fish, definitely try the grilled mackerel - hand marinated by the owner/cook. It was one of the best I had in recent memory.I would highly recommend this restaurant.

I use to go to the college around the way from here and never tried it. I just recently went with my mother and sister and we were not disappointed! The owner is a very kind woman who uses her own vegetables from homes from her garden and uses no msg at all. Usually after Korean good, I feel heavy and tired but it was not the case for here. The owner spoke with us and said that sometimes she has customers call in for certain foods that she has no ingredients for but will tell them to pick up in a set time so that she will go and get the items for them. She is not unprepared, she is just making sure not to over purchase so things so not go bad. I suggest calling ahead and asking what is available. They do takeout, dining in, and I believe Grubhub. The flavors of the dishes are amazing and natural sugar is always used. We were told she used bananas to make the dish sweet, so if you have any allergens be sure to let them know. I will for sure be coming back!!

The Queen’s Tofu is Carson/Compton best kept secret. The location of the restaurant can be found nestled in an unassuming area, by the ramps of the 91 freeway. The decor is early American hodgepodge. However, the authenticity of the Korean styled cuisine cannot be disputed. The chef and hostess were beyond inviting. There welcomes made you feel like you were at your favorite relatives home. We ordered half of the menu. And with little effort we cleared almost all the plates. We had the boiling tofu seafood soup, grilled mackerel, spicy pork w/onions, seafood pancake, dumplings and potstickers...when I tell you this meal was delicious... I really meant it! Wow! I have a new spot in town to take my friends for some down-home cooking. The service great, friendly staff, fresh food and great prices. Thumbs up!

Strictly on the soondubu, very disappointing lacks flavor and tasted like eating spicy water, no flavor at all. Is this North Korean food? With all the good reviews I thought it would be good, but I wouldn't eat here again for soondubu. Cute place and friendly staff.

Hands down best local Korean restaurant. Not only is the plating always on point but the food is ABSOLUTELY delicious. You can taste how fresh the ingredients are and how each side side complements the main course. The katsu is new on their menu and I will most definitely be coming back on the regular for it!

Just tried their cheese katsu and fried chicken and once again, PHENOMENAL. I can't wait to come back to try different items on the menu. So far, sooo good!

Finally found a Korean Restaurant close by. The food is served well-made and neatly. Very strict covid measures imposed, which is great. The tofu and Korean pancake are soooo good! The staff are very polite, caring, and kind. They both make you feel very welcomed :) I've been eating there for months now and I have nothing to say other than this place has been great! Good service, great home-like Korean food, very neat, outside has a cute garden which is very relaxing and I can tell that both employees are great moms by looking how they treat you there hehe VERY KIND, HUMBLE, AND CARING :) God bless both of them
