Can't say about the service but this was the worst Thai BBQ I've ever had. I usually go to the one on 7th Street in Long Beach or Carson. First time trying this location looking for Honey Duck which few locations have. I ordered it to go. The duck was undercooked and completely sauce less. My rice had absolutely no flavor. I had to put my duck in the air fryer to finish cooking it. This was the worst Thai BBQ I've ever been to and I will not be coming back.

I have been going at 30 years, I didn't like the idea when you order food, they make you pay 50 cent for the barbecue sauce. Now they make you pay $1 for each sauce, when you asked for more barbecue sauce. I told the waitress I will not come back there no more. She says new owner. I told her please tell him. And their carpet is nasty!

I ordered the lunch special for the thai original bbq, this is what the chicken lookedlike when i opened it. It's disappointing. The other chicken tasted old too, i called in to pick up my order thinking it was fresh but this is what I got.

Easily one of the worst restaurants that I've dined at in a very very long time!! I ordered the Thai salad and received a hot noodle dish with mushy shrimp, big onions and mushy tomatoes!! I pointed out to the waitress that I ordered a salad and even verified that it was a salad by asking what kind of lettuce was used and everything!! But I somehow got something else?? When i say she was mad that i sent it back!! If there's one thing that I can not stand!!! Is when we're all speaking English and to have the two ladies start yelling, gesturing, and pointing towards me speaking in another language!! I mean you're clearly talking Shit and at least if you're gonna do that give me the common curtesy to understand so that I can respond! We also ordered a mushroom and broccoli dish that looked old and disgusting! I mean broccoli has obviously gotten old if it's starting to turn yellow!! I didn't eat one thing from this place!! My friend who chose to eat there ordered the Thai BBq chicken and it came out ice cold with crunchy pinkish fried rice!! When she complained, they took it to the back and obviously microwaved it then brought it back smh!! She ate her food and I went somewhere else to eat! Oh and also to note, I don't know how they stay open because the place is a dump- and looked closed and deserted when we arrived!!

I'm glad they have cleaned this place up. Much nicer now. The food came out quickly and was very delicious. I would give them 5 stars but I don't understand the need to charge me a dollar for an extra peanut sauce for my beef sautae. I would definitly come back

On Fourth of July I went and ordered some food my total was $54. And I asked for a green chilies the ones in vinegar She give me one little container very little I asked for more she wanted to charge me $.75 each I said why are you charge me if I just spent $54 and if I sit down and eat there, I could eat all the little chilies I want no charge I don't get it she said I have to charge youthe food was OK it could be better back in the day it used to be really good not no more. That's the last time I'm going there if they can't take care of their customers

Soup was salty, ribs were bland, bathroom was stinky, place was mediocre, price is too expensive.

My favorite dish here is the pork broccoli. It's usually pretty good. The hours are limited here now, so you have to call before going. It seems like they are short handed lately.

First and foremost, I have eaten the Thai Original BBQ plenty of times and I'm a fan favorite of their S-8 Beef Sate, until today. I have never left a Yelp review for as long as I've used this application. But after this experience today, I want to not only leave a review but also give you a fair warning to not eat at this specific location.Walking into the restaurant alone raised all the red flags. The dining area looked grim, unsanitary and honestly felt like the home of a dead person. Customer service was terrible. Mind you this is a pick up order, so thankfully I didn't experience dining in.But when I got home... I unpack the bag and it's in the normal plastic container the food is usually in. I open the lid to my once favorite S-8 beef sate and with it usually comes the peanut sauce, that's tasty, especially on the rice. But when I opened the peanut sauce, it looked like this mucus like substance with a thick texture to it. Not to be graphic, but it looked like someone's saliva. Either this sauce was expired for the day or someone tampered with my order. Didn't even bother trying to taste it.I would give this place zero stars, if I could. Absolutely filthy place and disgusting food.

We dined in on 5/7/23 at this Carson location. My daughter has been craving the chicken noodles especially since the Culver City location closed for good. So bummed that they suddenly closed! The service was ok. Not the friendliest but good enough. We ordered bbq chicken, ribs, pad thai, chicken noodles, egg rolls and angel wings. The pad thai was soupy but ok. Everything else was good, tasted the same as we remember. The place can use an upgrade. The fish tank looks nasty a d dirty. I asked for lemon in my water and the guy that works there says let me see if we have any and he comes back says no. I'm like no lemon in an Asian restaurant? Hmm, ok. The ambiance is ok, nothing to write about except that it's an old restaurant. The lady actually was trying very hard to be nice and she was nice and accommodating. Our food was brought out pretty fast. The egg rolls were hard so not sure if they were fried fresh but the skin was hard. Overall, bc the Thai bbq restaurant closed near us, this is h the e closest location. Will we be back? Probably as my daughter loves their chicken noodles. Plenty of parking available.

I order here regularly but lately the new guy that handles the front has been very condescending and treats his customers like crap. He called me with attitude just because I showed up 30 minutes after I placed my order. He was very annoyed for showing up later for my food? I will definitely travel to another location outside my area now. If you want to be served by this rude individual I would suggest to take your business somewhere else. Very overpriced, might as well take your business to a nice fancy restaurant. If I could give 0 stars I would.

The poor woman was by herself serving and tending everyone she looked disturbed tired rude n overworked. We order Tom yum which we all liked very much…the pad Thai was moderate…the Thai tea was great … the poor server forgot to bring us the sides of chili amd my fathers shrimp fried rice was mediocre n didn’t bring it until the end of our dinner when asked for a white rice that which the yellow chicken curry didn’t include… the rice wasn’t cooked…we told the server… she gave us n upsetting face she took the plate brought it back and the rice was literally the same!overall I and my family personally will not be back

My husband and I visited this establishment tonight in hopes of getting our usual. We were calling since 8:35-8:40 with no answer. We reached the establishment and were told we would not be helped due to they were already closed. They close at 9:30! That is absolutely RIDICULOUS. Makes no sense for all of your signs as well as the website as well as Google maps to say you all close at 9:30 if you’re going to pick and choose what time you close every night. It has been an issue the past few times we have visited. This particular location will not be receiving any of our business ever again. The 3rd st location is better. Far, but worth it. DO NOT visit this Carson location if honorable customer service is what you value.

This place is ridiculously over priced. Place definitely needs a renovation. With that extra 18% gratuity on a family of four, they should think about hiring someone to clean the walls and fix the bathroom sinks.Food was ok but the utensils did need better cleaning. Paid $90 for two place and soup. Cup of sodas were $4.50 each. They were playing rap music and definitely didn’t go with the environment of the place.Won’t be back. I could’ve have taken my family to Lucille’s for that price and a cleaner place.
