My wife and I went for lunch on a weekday afternoon. Wasn't busy at all, so we got to meet Gus and get his recommendations. Great guy and really made our experience.We ordered the goddess and seven layer bowls, their creamy potatoe soup, and their little desserts. I really enjoyed the seven layer bowl and would definitely get it again. Everything was cooked well, and the potatoes with their creamy sauce and everything else in that bowl go perfectly together. Portion sizes are pretty generous as well. If you have a sweet tooth, I would recommend their chocolate ganache with sea salt. Their dessert is like a small sauce cup size, so I would recommend getting more than one. Pro tip, it goes great with a banana.There's plenty of free parking in the little plaza that it's in, and it's close to the beach so you can pick up food and go eat it there like we did. “We walked here for breakfast from our hotel, and we were so glad we did (even in the pouring rain)! Food was good and reasonably priced (especially compared to our hotel) and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. If we had been in the area longer, we would have gone back. I would much rather support this business than give more money to our hotel.“

“My first time here, the food was bomb! I had a chick pea tuna sandwich on white bread and came with chips and a drink. Also had to try their vegan banana pudding it was delicious good spot to eat but the service could have been more friendlier.“

“Always a good time at the Yard House. Just be ready for long lines, lots of people, and loud atmosphere. I'm always impressed by the professionalism of the staff and how they are able to handle such a large number of customers, especially on Friday nights and the weekend. After many years of being at this location in Long Beach, they consistently have a line of people willing to wait.I love the spicy tuna roll. “So many plant based protein options!! I got the carne asada burrito which was pretty great but I wish there was a little more variety in the filling. Followed up with a crispy potato taco which was amazing - so crispy and good. And then, since they were about to close, they gave us a free churro donut and it was so delicious! “We order delivery from this place regularly. The food is very good and delivery is reasonable. We ordered delivery through their website app using iPhone (iOS). Unfortunately, the app is terrible and you can’t login and have to check out as a guest every time. I hope they look into correcting this soon as it would be great to build points with them because we are regular customers. It’s just a minor inconvenience and we will continue to order delivery from this wonderful place in the future.“
