Doug's is the place to go for delicious omelettes, with generous portions and friendly service. I recommend the crispy hash browns as the potato selection.Parking: Handicap parking is available, but limited.Wheelchair accessibility: For dining in, to reach the tables, you'll have to go up a short ramp.

Recommended dishes: Vegetarian Omelette

Was in town for the weekend and we had breakfast here. I had the french toast, eggs and bacon. Great bacon, meaty! Large portions and reasonably priced $$.The ambiance is great with a nice old school feel. The service was good as well, just the right amount of attentiveness.

Ok foods. Ok service. No specialty, just normal breakfast and brunch restaurant. Good for family and friends.

I dont know if there's a new owner or what. But the food here's become soucks.Non of cooked items in my plate look or taste as if they met in a cooking pan.Omlete mixing tast as if they were cooked a while ago and not even mixed in the omlete. nothing special.Ordered potato and onion, got cooked cold potatos at the bottom of twice as much grilled onion looking chopped for salsa. All cold and tasteless.

This is a classic breakfast place with a casual family atmosphere. They have all of the traditional breakfast place dishes and it tends to be a regulars sort of place because of how friendly the staff are and how delicious the food is. Any time I am in Castro Valley around breakfast time I will go to this restaurant without a second thought. My wife and I have dined here numerous times and we have never been disappointed.

I found this place on yelp. Decided to give it a try. It's in a shopping center so plenty of parking. We walked we were given menu's and were told we can sit anywhere we felt most comfortable. Service is a 5 star. Our waitress came took our drink order 5 minutes later our order was taken. The prices are very reasonable here. I noticed a lot of young people worked there I think that's why service was so fast. I ordered concha French toast definitely something very different. It was on the sweeter side. So if you like sweet things this is a good option. My husband got a combo eggs, pancakes, and ham. He also added a hash brown. Everyone here was professional and very efficient. Highly recommend!

Down to earth diner in a strip mall, blue collar type. Nothing fancy, standard fare but if you are tired of overpriced avocado toast, this is my preferred place in CV for breakfast.

The food TASTES good but every time I’ve ate it makes me feel lethargic. It really could be something that they’re using in the food that we’re not informed about.

We found a new favorite Brunch spot!! This family-owned restaurant has been around for over 25 years and the service makes you feel at home. Along with their famous Omelettes and other breakfast dishes, Doug's serves lunch for those who don't care for breakfast food. They recently released "A Taste of Mexico" menu and you HAVE to try the Concha French Toast! It's entertainment all on its own! Feeling hungover? You can now order a nice bowl of Menudo on Saturdays and Sundays. Brunch lovers, be sure to give this place a try!* Doug's Omelette* Corn Beef Hash Breakfast* Side of Bacon, Hash Browns, and Eggs* Crisp Waffle with Strawberries & Whipped Cream* Concha French Toast* Chorizo and Eggs* Crab Melt Omelette

I was happy with the stuff and ordered veggie omelette and other food but as I took my first bite there was a piece of bacon in it. I was so disgusted. Dietary restrictions are for a reason and even though they were nice about it and changed it right away, it wasn't the same.
