The workers here are slow and not very friendly. But the bowls are good. But it is expensive.

Got the avocado power toast and peanut butter power toast. When I opened them up they were both on raw, untoasted bread. It’s like some kind of joke. It was too awkward to walk back and say, “why wasn’t my bread toasted?” Just won’t go back.I don’t know how you can have toast on the menu but serve untoasted bread unless you want people to stay away.

Usually, I don’t see too many people coming in and out of here when I’m around. Certain employees were great and others were not so great.Anyhow, the food and drink are pricey but healthy and good tasting.

Great bowls, the to go option is perfect. Tried the vitality bowl and highly recommend. I wish they had a better peanut butter option.

I met someone here who is the most hard working worker ever. They're always going above and beyond to make sure you get your food right. They never say they're out of anything and always work hard until closing. Every time I come in they always have a smile on their face like they love their job. This is the sole reason I keep coming back. I can tell that everyone who works there relies on this person's unparalleled work ethic. They definitely set the example and tone for their team. If it wasn't for them, I wouldn't feel so inclined to write this review. This Vitality Bowl ambiance wouldn't sit right without them working here. When they brought the food out today I asked their name and I believe they said their name is Kady or Kedy.

The owner was a delight and provided stellar customer service. I felt at home and was able to connect on talking about our dogs. The conversation was light and very genuine as another customer came in she kindly advised the other customer “I’ll be with you in just a minute “ and finished my order for me and my mother. The cook in the back came out and provided the food ordered swiftly . The customer service made my experience that much greater ! I wish more people were like this but I’m thankful for anything good I receive .Parking: I got lucky and in the front

My son was really excited to try a vitality bowl. We waited about ten minutes before we were greeted. We then stated we needed help. She supported us for ten seconds before heading back into the cooking area. At first, I thought she was alone but there were two other employees. When she tried to help, she got frustrated by a simple request which ended up costing us $8 for a simple apple juice. When we did receive our order nearly a half an hour later our Acai bowls were good, the smoothie was bland, and the apple juice was expensive. I had hoped for a good experience, but we won't be back.

When I lived in town, I used to eat lunch here at least once a month-but I haven't come by in quite a while. I stopped in today & ordered and it was NOT a pleasant experience. Firstly, they no longer have a cashier. You have to order on a computer POS (point of sale) thing yourself. All 4 young adult/teenage employees are standing behind a door in kitchen talking away. Eventually, a young lady wandered out and I asked her if I could just order with her, explaining that I wanted some changes to the regular Vitality bowl (add spinach, etc) but she said I could do that on the console and also I couldn't pay with cash (which I never carry anyways, so ok...fine). I chose to DINE-IN, and PRINT my receipt, and it did print out-but a guy swiftly emerged from the kitchen as soon as it printed and took it away. The console asked me for a tip, but since I'd received no service from anyone, I did not leave one. When you used to order a bowl for dine in, they used to give them to you in a chilled bowl, with fruit arranged really beautifully on top but this came out in a cardboard to-go container with a lid on it and everything inside all smooshed & gross. I was already seated at one of the tables in their small dining room, but when the kid brought it out from the kitchen, he did not bring it to me, rather he stood there and said, "do you want a bag?" I mentioned that I wanted to eat it there, and he said OK and left it on the counter while he turned and walked back into the kitchen. There's a tip jar on counter, if the worker would've brought the bowl to my table, I would've left him one. Alas, not to be. I opened my to-go container, noticed it was all smashed, took a couple bites, tossed it in garbage & left. The first young lady I interacted with walked back out before I left, and I asked her if they no longer serve the dine in customers in an actual bowl & she said not anymore. Waste of $13.50. I will NEVER come back.

Ordered a medium dragon bowl and they couldn't fill it up ? Should of got a small if I knew they were going to basically give me a small . And look at the toppings there's hardly any !

I love this place it's just pricey with not the best quality items in my opinion. I had a small portioned panini and I wasn't a huge fan. The tropical paradise smoothie had an overbearing taste of açaí, I wish there was more from it. The workers were nice and there's a bell to ring for service. Other than that, I'd like to give them another chance one day. Any suggestions on what I should order? I was torn between a wrap or a salad but I didn't wanna be disappointed because of the price.

For whatever reason it takes a really long time to make the smoothies, and they're not really sweet. I'm not sure if it's because they're busy but one girl was ready to tell me off because I was trying to get her attention while she was taking another order. That could've been avoided if they let the bathrooms stay open. But my biggest issue is the smoothies aren't very sweet and take a really long time to make.

Vitality Bowls is delicious. Located in a small plaza in Castro Valley. I am used to the vitality bowls from Pressed but Vitality Bowls is pretty good as well . The location is very small and a bit uncomfortable. 4 stars because they have waaaaay too many options to choose from. A good thing for some, but not for me. I ordered the BLUE BLISS BOWL. Pineapple Coconut flavored with granola, banana, blueberries and coconut chips on top. Although it was good, you can definitely make the same thing as long as u have a nutri-bullet. It was still tasty though. Keep in mind you will be paying around $14-$16 dollars too.

The owner was very accommodating and gave delicious recommendations. I got the Nutty Bowl and the fruits were fresh! It was a hot day and the store was well air conditioned :) Definitely coming back to check out their juices and smoothies!! Giving 5 stars because the bowls are yummy and we received friendly customer service!

So sick of this place! When will they make the order right? I ordered a beach bowl, which doesn't have banana on it supposedly and it is the one thing i eliminate in any bowl. I spoke with the team lead for today and I made sure I was calm. He was actually nice about it and he said he'll address this issue to the bosses. It's just truly frustrating. I think it is the people that work there that make the bowl that truly mess up. They need to be more serious about their job, this is food we are talking about. Either make it good or make it bad. I have lost my appetite due to frustration. I really love the beach bowl so I am ordering it as much as I could before they discontinue it, I think it's a seasonal thing. But please, train your workers. The base was really watery and I got those pathetic looking tiny pieces of pineapple, and a ton of banana on top like wtf! I am in full rage right now. I think it will be my very last order from this stupid store! Watch the video, this isn't the bowl that I had in mind that I was craving for. Your workers are ruining your store for you. This is the RE ORDER and we are not going back to the store today for the third time to actually get it right because I DON'T think those people know how to make this shit right! This part is my update feedback. My heart melted on how passionate and compassionate Debra is as the owner of this store. She truly makes things right with her loyal customers. I know it's not the stores issue but the workers. And I totally understand everything. I only gave 4 stars because even though I know how amazing the owners of this place is, it still isn't perfect, nothing and nobody is. But I truly admire how the owners; Debra and her husband, take care of their customers. Might not be a big deal to others but it is a huge deal to me that she gave me some of her precious time, she took care of me and made me feel important. That's what will make me stay loyal. I can just feel feel Debra's heart into her business. So if anybody will have any issues, I recommend asking to talk to Debra because she will make things right. Thank you, Debra. I can't say enough words to let you know how much I appreciate you! This world is so lucky to have you. Hope you inspire more people and that your employees will take after your wisdom. God bless you.

I love vitality, this is the first location I tried. I love the bowls, avacado toast and juice here. I came in today. The service was great and quick. It is a small location but they have a couple of seats. I tried something new today. The warrior bowl was really good. Everything I tried has been great so far.
