Been looking for at least decent BBQ in CV, so had to try Bubbas. Overall it's good and I would go back, but probably to try the burger.We got the sampler platter for 2, which gave us brisket, baby back ribs, pulled pork, sausage and a quarter chicken so we could try most of everything. So first off, don't expect a real smoked BBQ experience here. Didn't detect a smoker used at all in any of the meats, just more or less roasted. The hits I'd say were the brisket and the sausage. Brisket was flavorful without too much fat, the sausage was tasty too. But the chicken, ribs and pulled pork were overcooked. All of it falling off the bone which isn't really a bad thing, but cooked to the point of on the mushy side is. This is also indicative of frozen meat. There was virtually no difference between the pulled pork and the rib meat.Over on the plus side, I did like their sauces. Their basic BBQ sauce was on the sweet side, the spicy bourbon had a come through bourbon flavor, and the sweet chili sauce and mango habanero were also tasty. The two sides we chose were also good. The jalapeno pinto beans were nice and spicy, the mac n cheese was also good, but not the best. Corn bread was dense and not much corn flavor.Service was perfect, attentive but not overbearing.Prices were about average for a BBQ spot. Atmosphere was nice, although trying to convey a roadhouse feeling in a strip mall.Full bar with a good selection of house cocktails and beer.I would go back to try their burger, I'm curious about it. And I'd give the pork another try (small order), to see if they just had an off day.

Nice atmosphere, waitress wa attentive. My husband ordered the chili bowl and cornbread. The chili was literally a cup and the cornbread a very small piece with no butter. Also ordered the large crabapple salad and it was not very big at all. We tried to connect to WiFi numerous times and when brought to the attention of the waitress her response was “that’s the password “. Overall it was nice but the food portions are relevant to their prices. Very pricey for the amount of food you get.

We were looking for a place away from the downtown area and came across this restaurant. I am beyond happy that we found it!!!!! The food is outstanding and the service was impeccable. Brad is amazing and very attentive. We had smoked BBQ sausage, Mac and cheese egg rolls, BBQ porker burger, mixed veggies, cornbread, and fries....every single things was absolutely worth it....I can't wait to plan another visit to Palms Springs simply to come back here!!!!!

it was our first time out to Palm Springs for a golf trip we needed to burn some time before we checked into our Airbnb. I was looking for a place where I could see our car while we dined since we had our luggage and golf clubs in the vehicle. we chose bubba's cuz it had an outdoor seating area where you can view the parking lot and you can also feel the parking lot from inside the restaurant also. we had a large group and I called ahead to make a reservation and they had a table ready for us when we arrived on a Saturday at 1:00 p.m. we ordered a bunch of different types of food The blue cheese chips were really good if you like blue cheese we also ordered the wings and the stuff wontons. I had the western burger and I added brisket to it which was pretty tasty. The barbecue meats were pretty good here but we've had Texas barbecue which was phenomenal. it's a great place to go for food and drinks. service was really good even though they were a bit overwhelmed and slow a bit but we totally understood that they seem to be slightly understaffed which was okay we had time to burn we and were in no rush. are server apologized many times for not being able to service faster which was okay. I will come back here again for some food it's pretty good.

I ordered the baby back ribs, and I could taste the freezer burn, which is distinctive to meat being old and frozen entirely too long. Love the wait staff. Kudos to Brad and Sydney. Loved them, and the ambiance was great.
