My daughter and I were visiting Palm Springs for the day after a hike and wanted to stop somewhere for a quick drink before driving home to the Riverside area. We did not want to sit at the bar - we wanted to people watch outside. The hostess did not want to seat us and basically tried to get us to leave. There were plenty of open seats both indoors and out, and no line. Yet she informed us that we would have to sit in the sun since all we wanted was drinks. I had to practically apologize by telling her that we would not be very long and we preferred the shade. When our chips and salsa came, I tried to place my drink order. The response I received was "Tell your server, I just work here." Upon finding out we only wanted drinks, our server was extremely unfriendly and would barely look at or speak to us. (Did I mention it was happy hour, and that were plenty of open tables? It's not like we were taking a table away from someone else who could tip more.) We waited for 20 minutes and never received a drink or any follow up. So we just ate their chips and left. El Patron across the street seated and served us in five minutes. I recommend their Prickly Pear Margarita. You could not pay me to return to this establishment.

From Saturday March 16th: my brother and I returned for what hoped would be a good meal. Instead, we felt like the kids were in charge or left alone and the parents were out. We had to wait to be seated as the waitresses were busy eating standing up at the service counter facing the kitchen. After being seated, we had to wait for a server to take our order as the waitresses were still congregating by the kitchen. This was the first time that the food arrived long before the drinks (soda water and iced tea). The guy who cleared tables was nice enough to bring our drinks. Our server knew she screwed up and brought us a scoop of ice cream as an apology. Food was okay (carnitas was very dry - not that anyone asked how the food was). Given how many Mexican restaurants there are in the area, I'm not sure how soon we will come back!

Food was okay but the service was lacking and terrible. The tortillas chips were dripping with grease. The burritos were not bad but we had to ask for water two times The waitress found it more important to stand around chit chatting with someone after we had asked rather than getting us the water. We asked for more tortillas chips instead of the greasy ones we had...twice! We asked for our check three times. We almost got up and walked out without paying. The waitress was in the back by the restrooms on her cell phone. One look at this place and I should have run in the other direction.

Very large selection of drinks. Love the restaurant when days or evenings are nice and weather is good they actually open up large windows walls. Also food is good especially the carne asada tacos.
It was our first time eating there, the food was great but the service was downright disgusting. They sit in the back talking and just leave you sitting there waiting to order for 20 minutes when they are not busy and just to pay we had to walk up to the front ourselves. Even though they took another couples order that came in after us way faster plus they received their food quicker. Our waitress sucked and tried to skimp me on my money back to give herself a $10 tip which was very much not deserved! Over all terrible first experience and will not be going back because of the experience!
