This place was nice when they opened. Every visit i see it getting worse. Dirty floors. Warmed over food. Open storage of items in dining area. I love Filipino food. They are the only one in the area. But I just can't come support this business anymore. They need to clean up and shape up. Maybe change the name and have a grand re-opening. Start fresh.

The food was good and tasty. We just had to wait a little bit and they forgot a few of our orders because they said, they have a big order. But, it was fine. Place was a little small but, it was still all in all great visit, wouldn't mind visiting again.

We didn't know that's there a Filipino restaurant about 8 minutes away from The Westin Mission Hills Resort & Villas that we always stays after Christmas. We love the tselog breakfast, the food is very good, so authentic. Now we know, and we don't have to bring tselog breakfast to cook at the villas. The place is so convenient, they offer different variation of tselogs, and they open so early at 6 AM. This restaurant is highly recommended

One of the better Filipino combo spots I've been to! My boyfriend and I were passing through the area and decided to stop by. We ordered:Salmon sinigang (5/5) loved this! Pancit (5/5) good portionHalo-halo (4/5) good, but could be a bit sweeter

I finally went into Meng's and had the dinuguan and the sinigang. Excellent and both flavor infused and seasoned perfectly. I'm not a fan of tripe and the dinuguan serving I had didn't have any... Yayy! It wasn't fatty and neither was the sinigang. On another visit I had the adobo baby squid. For me the sauce needed more garlic. The squid itself just slightly tough. I'll try it again maybe earlier in the day.

Great authentic Filipino food ! Nice sized portions and reasonable prices. Ordered takeout by phone and it was ready when we arrived.

Small mom and pop shop. I think it's more ideal to order and pick it up. I sat and had lunch but recommend taking food home instead. Owner doesn't talk much but friendly. Food is delicious!

I was visiting Palm Springs from San Diego and after a few Mexican food fails, I was beginning to think I couldn't trust the Yelp reviewers of the Coachella Valley. Thankfully, Meng's did not disappoint. You know a Filipino place is going to be good when their weekday morning is spent filling lunch orders for Filipino medical professionals. I ordered the tocilog and loved it. The pork marinade was delicious, the sinangag na kanin was so yummy (look at that bawang), & the eggs were cooked perfectly. Check Meng's out! I'll definitely be going back the next time I'm in town.

Gotta be honest, the appearance of the restaurant could really use some improvement. There were filthy dishes on top of a full trash can with flies flying around it, tables and chairs look dirty, signs have a visible coat of grease over it, everything just looked *dirty*. I don't want to know how the restrooms looked. The food was okay. It probably would have tasted better if the appearance of the store took away my appetite. Their pancit noodles were nothing special. Nor their lumpia or skewers or halo-halo. Fil-Am's market across the street had tastier food. I won't be returning.

The place is OK... nothing to rave about. I had the deep fried pork ruffles and a plate of bbq chicken on a stick. The pork ruffles were crispy, fatty, and tasted a little burnt, and that's probably from the used-up frying oil. The vinegar dip helped cut the oily-ness of the ruffles, but beer would've done a better job. The rice/chicken plate came with two chicken skewers, two thin tomato slices, and two over easy eggs. Excellent combo! Well, rice is rice - however it's fried and flavored with something good. I could not figure it out. The eggs were fried over easy and perfectly cooked. The tomato slices were refreshing. The chicken was a little sweet, spicy, tender, juicy, and charred. Tres Estrellas because it was hot inside...

I'm not filipina, but I do like Buko Pandan, Palabok...which the only place I will buy it at Meng's to go, they so busy on Saturday, so don't even think to be patient, I always come on weak day. I can not dine in because appear they not putting A/C so is kind a humid/warm inside the cafe, I can die, so not comfortable, imagine 100 outside and 90 inside, my only complained. No Pictures.

Not from the area so it was a bit difficult to find. Had to look through reviews here and it's to the right end of the FOOD4LESS in the plaza with no name on the outside. As soon as you walk-in the food is right in front of you with the SILOG menu and another menu to the left. It's pretty warm in there and a few seating to the right with little snacks and drinks you can purchase. I'm from San Diego and I was craving homemade Filipino food so I looked up Filipino food and here you go!!! I definitely want to come back and try out more food. Everything looked so delicious. Nothing crazy special, just a cute little hole in the wall. I ordered the Longsilog ( crispy and juicy Longanisa ) and my boyfriend ordered his favorite, Adobosilog ( made with fatty pork ) ...SO GOOOD! The suka was good too! Just order and they bring it to you for dine in.

Support your local Mom & Pop shop! If you're looking for authentic Filipino food, this is where it's at! Found this place when we were out in Palm Springs for Coachella. This review is for my overall experience at Meng's. This was my 3rd visit and I had to go with the usual - longsilog and adobosilog plates. First place your order, find a table to sit at, the staff will then deliver the food, then you pay. Both of these plates were very simple dishes yet so good - super flavorful and such comforting food. However, this recent visit, the food was a lot more oilier than I remembered. Also, the seasoned garlic rice didn't seem as fresh as before. Nonetheless, food was still good and service was good.
