Food & service were good ~ definitely a place to dine. Is a small restaurant ~ so keep that in mind ... there is a small sushi bar at back of the restaurant if you prefer dining at the bar.

On 03/29/24, I ordered takeout from Hamachi Sushi, including four rolls, two of which were the "Steph Roll." Upon biting into the first roll, I noticed a strange smell on the fish but trusted the restaurant. Unfortunately, I became severely ill for two days afterward, likely due to consuming bad raw fish. Concerned for others, I called the restaurant the next day to inform them of the issue and requested they discard any more spoiled fish. However, the response I received was dismissive, with the staff member claiming they didn't work the previous day. Despite leaving my contact information, the restaurant failed to address the situation or provide satisfactory customer service following the incident, which could have been handled more effectively given the circumstances of serving expired fish.

If eel sauce, spicy mayo, etc... is what you like, come here. Otherwise, authentic, upscale sushi offered by Joyce's Sushi, Otori Sushi, Kobe Steakhouse. Would rather go there from now on. Clamato beer mix is legit though.

Food and service always good. But with all respect I left because the waitress had way way too much perfume. I was eatting and for chemical effect I felt the perfume on my mouth ... I honestly think it's not necessary wear so much it's the second waitress I notice not sure if it's a policy but no bueno
