I was initially thrilled when approached by Jeff McDonald from The Roost Bar. We engaged in discussions about potential collaboration, and despite being in the midst of a move from San Francisco to Cathedral City, I eagerly pursued the opportunity. However, what ensued was a deeply disappointing and frustrating experience that left me feeling used and betrayed.Upon our verbal commitment, I made sacrifices, including putting a pause on my university classes, to expedite my relocation and dedicate my time to The Roost Bar's needs. Despite my honesty about my circumstances, Jeff McDonald and The Roost Bar assured me that they were ready to part ways with their current agency and move forward with me.In good faith, I invested weeks of effort and expertise, providing insights, strategies, and solutions tailored to their business challenges without any upfront payment. I poured my heart and soul into developing plans that I genuinely believed would benefit their establishment.However, my efforts were met with betrayal. The Roost Bar not only failed to compensate me for my time and contributions but also abruptly cut ties and handed over my meticulously crafted strategies and ideas to another agency. I was left sidelined, with all my hard work and dedication seemingly disregarded.This experience has been incredibly disheartening, to say the least. It is disappointing to encounter such blatant disregard for integrity and professionalism. Despite this setback, I refuse to let it dampen my spirits or compromise my principles. I remain steadfast in my belief in honesty, integrity, and hard work, and will continue to uphold these values in all my endeavors.Moreover, this experience raises significant questions about The The Roost Foundation commitment to the standards it purports to uphold. While they may project an image of community support and goodwill through their foundation, their actions behind the scenes suggest a willingness to dehumanize others through unethical business behavior. It is deeply concerning when a company claims to champion certain values publicly while engaging in practices that undermine those very principles in private dealings.I created the social media profile and artwork for The Roost Foundation. However, what followed was a tale of creative theft and unethical behavior that left me feeling utterly disheartened and disillusioned. Upon crafting the social media profile and artwork, I entrusted they with my work, expecting fair compensation for my efforts. Unfortunately, they not only refused to pay for the job but also brazenly stole my work by changing the password of the account I had painstakingly created.

Great place. The workers are very polite and prompt. Nice place for karaoke every Tuesday at 6 pm. People are classy and friendly. I'll highly recommend it.

Fun place to get a cocktail. Caters to a gay clientele, but ok for straight folks too. Live music, open mic. No food, but you can order from nearby restaurants to eat here. Inside & outside seating. Plenty of parking around the movie theater.Kid-friendliness: Must be 21 to enter

Had an amazing first time there. I was surprised on how many people talked and laughed during Keisha's performance. She did an amazing job and at least 1/2 the people there could've cared less. Will definitely go again but would sit closer to the stage so we could hear her better.I should add, they weren't laughing at Keisha, they just weren't there to enjoy her show.

********** this is the most incredible lounge I have ever been to, so friendly, so nice everyone's welcome straight or gay. The service is phenomenal. The whole staff is incredible and the entertainment they offer is fantastic. If you haven't been to this place, it's a must place around like it, when I come from out of town it's the one place I go to almost every night due to the entertainment the friendliness, the music, the weight staff, the owners always making sure you're OK and everything is good stop by let me know what you think? My rating on this place is a 10+ go for yourself and see.
