Lukewarm. That's the temp of the food. Even freshly made & handed to me.Made an app order with a BOGO promo I redeemed. My customized burritos bowl consisted of half carne asada, half carnitas, white rice, half black beans, half pinto beans, fajita veggies, fresh tomato salsa, roasted chili-corn salsa, tomatillo-green chili salsa, sour cream, cheese & romaine lettuce. Arrived early, and received my order 5 minutes past the estimated time.Carne asada & carnitas burrito bowls-A lot of food, Chipotle's burrito bowl is. Did they tantalize the tastebuds? Did they scintillate the senses? No. However, the burrito bowls are filling, and the BOGO offer is a great deal. Possibly if the food was served piping hot, the bowls could've packed more punch.Service was good. A 5 minute wait past the estimated time was within reason. The dining area was clean. Chipotle Mexican Grill is located on the eastside of Los Cerritos Center, adjacent to Macy's.Would I patronize Chipotle without a promo? Probably not. There are a plethora of Mexican eateries to choose from, with bold flavors & cheaper prices. But, a BOGO promo is hard to pass up, and a large amount of food is what I received.

One of the best Chipotle's I've been to recently. This location is always very clean. All the food looked very fresh like every thing was just made and the steak was perfect a little pink not like well done like how I've been getting it from other Chipotle's (I don't like well done steak) if it's good I will order double steak. The fajitas even were cooked to perfection not like they have been sitting there. Wish I had a picture of the food but forgot to get one.

The person that assisted me today was rude & rushing making my order. There was no line so I didn’t understand the rushI asked for guac and I received a whole avocado half. They didn’t take the time to properly mash the guac??? Majority of my scoop was this avocado half. And the chicken is under seasoned

Went today (7-1-2023) and I got home and they forgot to put my guacamole in the bag so I drove all the way back to get it felt acknowledged until I said that they forgot to put my guacamole in the bag and after that no sorry about no nothing just ignored me and as she was handing it to me no attention at all and was just so attentive to other customers ! Will not go back to this location

This is the best chipotle I have ever eaten at, the people are so nice. All the workers are so cool and nice to talk with. I would go in almost every day for my lunch. The place was always nice and clean never had to worry about anything dirty. Napkin area was alway nice and clean nothing looked nasty.Food is alway thee best! I love the last 2 chicken flavors that they have released. They always hook it up too, best chipotle.

They forgot my free guac via the app (sad....tear drop). Not gonna complain coz it's free. But I did get a hefty amount of guac on my sofritas salad. Its Lenten season, so I can't have land animal meat. If you're wondering what sofritas is, it's crumbled tofu. It's actually pretty good. It's been marinated in their Chipotle spices and you can't even tell its not meat. Ftw for vegetarians. I'll be ordering this for the rest of the season til Easter or even just days I don't want meat. (Oh forgot pic)

Very unexpected service in my so far experience with Chipotle. Got a piece of meat in my vegetable bowl. They said “sorry” and offered free bowl which I didn’t take. But i was disappointed with food which we always loved to have in Chipotle with vegetarian options. Highly doubt i will visit this outlet again and probably think twice eating at chipotle again.

They purposely gave me a lot less food than other chipotles even when asking for more rice she barely added more. The employees were in a rush for no reason and not as polite as other chipotles. My bowl barely was filled except for the large amount of beans she gave me never going to this one again

Don't tell anyone else, but I may have just cracked the Chipotle code! Some years ago, I read somewhere that you could get the most bang for your buck by ordering your Chipotle burrito a certain way:When asked for your protein, choose two. You'll get charged the higher price of the twoWhen asked for white or brown rice, choose bothWhen asked for pinto or black beans, choose bothThis had been fixated in my mind since then, and I never thought once about getting a burrito bowl because it's the same as a burrito sans tortilla. However, my last burrito at the Lakewood Chipotle was quite soggy, and then one of my Yelp friends told me about a hack where you could actually make multiple burritos out of a burrito bowl if you order multiple tortillas on the side."No way!" I thought to myself. "Why would I pay $1 extra for two tortillas?"What I didn't know until just recently was that when you request additional toppings after the protein(s), rice, and beans, you can choose extra or on the side. I exploited this to my advantage by ordering extra fajita veggies, cheese, and romaine lettuce. I also requested the salsas and sour cream to be on the side. And that, ladies and gentlemen, is how I discovered the way to maximize the amount of food you get while minimizing the impact to your wallet. Order optimization at its finest!I was planning to do some shopping in Cerritos, but I didn't know when I would be done, so I couldn't really place my order before I left home. After my last stop of the shopping trip, I hopped on the Chipotle app and ordered my *new* usual: Half chicken and half sofritas burrito bowl with all the previously mentioned customizations. At first, my location was set to Lakewood Center, and then I had to revise the location to their counterpart mall in Cerritos. The total price increased by a few cents. Inflation much? lolAnyways, I arrived a couple minutes before my scheduled pickup time, but my order was already ready for pickup. I told a crew member my name, and she had the bag right in front of her. It wasn't a paper bag with handles on the top; rather, it was a paper bag that was taped shut by a tamper-proof seal. It was a pretty bulky bag to say the least; maybe the handles would have ripped off?I returned home and was pleased to see they followed my customization instructions to a T. All the salsas and the sour cream on the side, and the burrito bowl chock full of the proteins, rice, beans, lettuce, cheese, and fajita veggies. I was ready to dig in!Except everything in the burrito bowl was lukewarm at best :(For the first half of the bowl, I added the tomatillo-green chili salsa, half of the fresh tomato salsa, half of the roasted chili-corn salsa, and the Queso Blanco, which was actually a free reward on my Chipotle account. I love Queso Blanco, but this Queso Blanco was quite weak, though that's likely because it was mixed in with everything else. Nevertheless, I was quite disappointed that I chose the Queso Blanco as my free side; I should have went with the guac instead! Or maybe even the chips as that was an option too, and it would have been kind of cool to use the burrito bowl as my dip for the chips. After eating the first half of the burrito bowl, the bowl legit looked almost full, like I barely ate anything lol. I saved the rest for the next day, and after microwaving for a couple of minutes, it was way warmer than the previous night! It was also pipin' hot because I used the tomatillo-red chili salsa, and that salsa is sooooooooooo hot! It will burn your tongue if you consume it all at once, which is what I do since I'm not one to mix red and green salsas together. One of the tortillas was nice and warm, but the other wasn't. I ate the nice and warm tortilla first, which made for a decent burrito. I ate the other tortilla for dinner the next day, and it was so hard it felt like I was eating unbaked tortilla chips. But really, if you order a burrito bowl the way I did, you may have enough for two meals even if you go without a t
