Bought two drinks here but I’m sure the milk was sour. My family loves boba but we ended up throwing away both drinks. I sure hope they catch this next time. We went off the 5 * rating but it is definitely NOT 5 stars.

Came across this hidden gem while driving down from the valley!  Great quality and flavored drinks and one of the best Matcha latte with brûlée and oreos. An absolute game-changer! They use ceremonial grade matcha straight from Japan. The earthy matcha flavor combined with their cream brûlée made it an unforgettable experience. Not to mention their service and attentiveness is top-notch.

There's plenty of parking space. They have some indoor seating available. I got the Mango Tornado and it was pretty good. I think it was mango and creme brulee blended together. I got it in 70% sugar since they said 100% sugar would've been too sweet. Recommendation(s):- Mango TornadoService: 5/5Tip(s):- Plenty of parking spaces- Some indoor seating- Accept Apple Pay

no no no no this was not it. :/came here with friends after getting shabu for a sweet treat after all the heat inside. decided to give Gung Ho a chance based on reviews, but consider me bamboozled because this place is a Gung "No" from me. Xgot the strawberry tornado but the custard lined inside was lumpy, and the strawberry taste too artificial. It was ok the first few sips but it soon started separating all weird even though it was a frikking cold day outside. they explained it tastes like strawberry yogurt but iono it's just not what we were hoping for. we've tried strawberry yogurt-like drinks elsewhere where they use better quality ingredients that taste much better and less syrupy. the milk tea was standard-- nothing too special. and the thing is, the milk tea was advertised to be a best seller, as were the tornados. if an establishment can't get the best sellers right, then it's not worth returning to for me. service was also just ok. also this is a busy plaza, so parking won't be very easy like someone else mentioned, unless you're coming at a really odd time

I always pass by whenever I get bbq chicken, and always told myself I'd stop by. I finally stopped by, and did not regret it. I would definitely say that parking is a hassle though as there are quite a few popular restaurants and places near by. The plaza it is located in has a small lot so it did take a bit to find parking. I got two drinks, the taro tornado (pictured below) and the mango green tea. I always adjust the sweetness to 75/70 (depending on the place) and it was just perfect! Typically I don't get boba in my drinks, but the boba in the mango green tea was perfectly chewy and just right. I would say the tea flavor isn't too strong, but there is a good balance. The taro tornado was also pretty good, it had a good taro flavor and was creamy. You order the drinks yourself via the table in the front. When you order you can adjust the sweetness, and ice (or selected drinks) and add whatever topping you'd like. The drinks come out relatively fast after you order! It is also a plus that the cups are reusable. I definitely will come bac and try the other drinks.

Good drinks. My friend and I went to Gung Ho around 9pm so they were out of the original boba but that was okay so I got strawberry popping boba in a strawberry green tea drink. I ordered it on the tablet they had and didn't have to wait too long. My tea was very delicious. I haven't had popping boba in several years so it was fun reexperiencing the texture and fun of eating them. I went to used their restroom, although the bathroom sign said "out of order" but I didn't notice until after I finished. The bathroom seemed to work fine other than the sink being dirty. There was very loud music to cover up the sound of blenders, I feel bad for the employees having to listen to that all day :( i hope they are allowed to wear earplugs to at least cancel out some decibels.

Located in a shopping plaza filled with food options and even another boba shop a few spots down, Gung Ho stands out above the other boba shops. From the moment you walk in, you can tell it's a different type of boba shop. The walls are colorful, the menu is simple, and the employees are enthusiastic to be there.I got the Jasmine Milk Tea with custard 1/2 sweet. It was one of the best milk teas I have had in a long while. The custard was delicious and tasted fresh. Definitely worth the visit in the area.

Upon entering Gung Ho, you can see that there are a few drink options. I decided to try their Orea Milk Tea, as that is a milk tea this is rare to find, along with the Thai Milk Tea as a baseline. Unfortunately, the Oreo Milk Tea was disappointing. It tastes as if they blended some Oreos in water and then added a bit of a base milk tea for this drink. Sadly, I couldn't even finish the drink. On the upside, the Thai Milk Tea was excellent! I was so surprised of how good the Thai Milk Tea was after having the Oreo Milk Tea. The flavor is mellow and not too sweet! Service was fine. They take your order quickly and get your drinks done once the order was placed. Overall, I recommend the Thai Milk Tea for sure! As for the other drinks, they may be hit or miss.

Not a bad boba joint. The milk tea boba was pretty good and the boba balls were chewy and not too mushy like some places. You can adjust the sweetness and ice levels of the drink. We wish the tea flavor was a bit stronger, but at least the tea didn't taste too milky. The boba shop is in an outdoor plaza with a bunch of restaurants right across from the Cerritos mall. It's a good place to stop over after grabbing a bite to eat. There's not much seating so it's probably not a place you can just hang out with friends. The service is good and the cashier was friendly and even offered a free sample of their featured dessert.

Try it. You will like it.. the cups are reusable!! Tornado = blended Thai tea tornado 50% sweetness is just right (Goldilocks voice) Oreo Matcha latte full sweetie was on point to mask the bitterness of match. THE CUBES!! Taro was the fav. Mango was solid. Strawberry hella basic (meh). Tasted like strawberry yogurt. Service was solid & gave solid recommendations

I love the taste of orio matcha latte cream brulee. You could taste the bitterness of matcha, unlike in other boba place which more milk than matcha. My daughter loves their taiyaki so much. Yogurt cube are great as well specially matcha and mango.❤️

New boba shop in Cerritos! This place was cool to stop by near the Cerritos Mall, and had a good vibe and ambiance inside. They were packed with orders so our drinks took a little bit of time. I liked the consistency of my drink and overall had good flavor. I got the mango tornado and it was thick and creamy! Overall, good! The other drinks we got were ok, but the tornado was definitely the best one!
