Watch out for the old lady chef, she is so rude! Yesterday when I was waiting for my food, she literally served me my plates opened without closing them. She then yelled, "Go, pick them up!" to me as if im supposed to close the plates and get them from the hot countertop myself. So unprofessional and aggressive. Definitely not a good ambient to be in.

Sarku Japan has been a favorite chain of mine since I was a child. The consistency of quality across all chains, from Massachusetts to California, is unparalleled. I really appreciate the quality of service and that I can trust any location to fulfill my nostalgia!! Teriyaki chicken, extra chicken, extra sauce, white rice and vegetables - forever and ever! Cooked fresh right in front of you! Miles beyond what Panda E could ever deliver.

My mother accidentally dropped my plate. They gave me another plate. The man preparing my plate gave me a very horrible attitude when I asked him for extra sauce. He was speaking to me very harshly in his own language with a horrible attitude! He angered me and I responded asking him, "what is your problem!! "Horrible man to be working in such service. I will never go to that place ever again!!

Food is good. Protein portion is so small. They could make the portions bigger and add price into it.

This place hands down is my all time favorite teriyaki place. The chicken is always cooked to order and is super delicious. They specialty is their teriyaki chicken meal! LOCATION: It is in the Cerritos Mall in the food court across from Panda Express. Seating is pretty easy even on the busier days. The cafeteria is huge and there are plenty of seating. Unless you have a big party, maybe 6 or more people, you shouldn't have trouble finding seats. FOOD: I will admit their portions are inconsistent. I've dined here maybe 20 times and portions are always different. Although there is always enough chicken to get a bang for your buck. Their teriyaki meal comes with steamed vegetables, white rice, and chicken. They have other food options but this is the top notch stuff hehe. I am pretty sure you can get the rice replaced with other sides. And when they call up your number to get the food you can also ask them to put an extra scoop of their special teriyaki sauce on top for free. You can also ask for a cup, not bottled, of water for free. Their vegetable spring rolls are also huge and yummy. If you read this far here's a tip, on Uber Eats they sometimes have a buy one get one free deal of their teriyaki chicken, it's amazing. You can order for pickup so whether you're walking around the mall or want to pick some up from your home you're getting a steal deal. You can also order it for delivery but the delivery fees hurt!

Sarku Japan is my favorite shopping mall food spot in the Bay Area and here in Southern California! The line gets crowded here for a reason and they cook everything in front of you! I always get the Chicken Teriyaki ($9.49) but you need to get the double chicken for $2 more! They absolutely load it with chicken and at the end of the line, be sure to ask the cook for more sauce. This is a must! It comes with rice and also vegetables but you can sub it with noodles or just do rice! I think its a extra charge, not 100% sure on that. The chicken quality is not the best but it tastes good enough for me haha. It's a lot of food but worth it for the price. I'm happy to know I have a local Sarku Japan to visit!

Generally speaking, this place has the worst service. They are so cheap in every aspect. They make grunt noises and say "ay ya" if we ask for spoon and forks and extra sauce. I hope these old folks just retire and sell their store to someone that's better at business

Ate here tonight the teriyaki chicken was really good! I like it because they cook the chicken when you order it and it tastes so good. Comes with veggies too! I like it when they fry it on the flat top grill.

Me and my son ( a big boy football player) love this place . Love that they cook fresh and amount of food is great especially for big kid . Counter guy knows us by now and is always super friendly and knows that my son gets extra chicken every time we go there .

Soooo yummy!! I used to go to a different Sarku all the time. Its always good; this one was no different. I got the chicken teriyaki, it was delicious, hot, and an extremely generous portion. The people working at the counter were very kind and polite! Would definitely recommend!

We came to the mall to pick up a laptop from repairs at the Apple Store and ended up having lunch at Sarku Japan. To be fair, the food wasn’t bad. Nothing crazy, nothing fancy, but we were able to get our fill.As far as mall food goes you could do much worse. This was our first time trying Sarku Japan.

They HOOKED IT UP here for my teriyaki chicken & shrimp noodles & veggies for under $11! I ordered, found a seat, then my food was ready, piping hot!You can't beat the price & quantity and quality of their food in this mall. I looked over and saw ONE SLICE of NY pizza for like $12? Mongolian BBQ for $15? Some precooked Hawaiian chicken for $15? No thanks.Sarku beats them all for mall food here.
