I used to take my son & his baseball team here after games at least 1-2 a week. Now I only come occasionally but it still hits the spot. We never leave disappointed. It's a very nice restaurant inside. Long benches & nicely spaced. They have lots of topping options. I love that they have models of fully prepped shaved ice loaded with toppings & pictures on the menu so you can visualize & choose the right size to order. Service is also very good- workers are always attentive.

I was searching for dessert catering services for my daughter's Frozen themed birthday party and came across Snowflakes Shaved Ice on Yelp. Not only that the name was so perfect for the party but Kevin and his partner provided excellent service and top notch delicious Halo Halo dessert. It was a huge hit at the party. All the guests loved it and they can't stop talking about it until now. Kevin explained to each of the guests about the Halo Halo dessert very well. He's super friendly and helpful. At the end of the party, he and his partner even helped to put the left over Halo Halo inside the freezer. Thank you so much Kevin and team for making my daughter's birthday a party to remember. Now we have to stop by the store to try more items!

I went with Snowflakes to cater our son’s first birthday party at the park. They were easy to communicate with and very responsive leading up to the big day. Day of, setting up was a stress free experience and they showed up on time and was set up ready to serve in minutes. They were very friendly and all our guests were enjoying their treats and conversations. I can’t speak enough about how good the service was, but even better was the actual shaved ice. When paired with their scoop of ice cream it is so delicious and our guests got seconds, thirds, and maybe/maybe not myself a 4th round. I would for sure recommend them for catering a birthday party for all ages and even weddings.

I met the fine folks at Snowflakes at a birthday party and I swear I had like 4 rounds, it was so good. Everyone was enjoying them so I had to ask for a card. When it was my son's first birthday I reached out and Kevin was so responsive, helpful, and informative. We decided to go with snowflakes because the catering package they offer for shaved ice is packed with services and affordable. In the weeks leading up to the big day Kevin was easy to reach and also checked up with me to make sure we were all good. The day of the event they showed up on time ready to go. It was such an easy no stress experience since - they set up a spot and were ready to serve. Again it was such a big hit. Not only was everyone loving the shaved ice and ice cream package but also all my guests were telling me how nice they were, it is so easy to chop it up with them because they are so friendly... it's no wonder why you catch yourself in line for a 3rd or 4th time lol. A lot of my guests kept asking me about them and I was happy to share their info. I think Snowflakes is a perfect treat for any wedding or birthday party of all ages, especially with summer coming up. It is so customizable that everyone will find something they would want. I can't wait for the next big party so I can try their Halo Halo station next time! Once again I want to say a big thank you to Kevin for adding a little magic to my sons 1st birthday party, you guys are the best

The Acai works is really refreshing on a hot day. Their house blend is probably my favorite and it works really well with their fresh fruits and granola.

Cafe 86 was PACKED so we walked to this place. I am so happy we did because this is now my favorite place for halo halo!!! The halo halo comes standard with ube ice cream, which I'm not a fan of. I noticed someone in the other reviews rated low because they felt they couldn't change the toppings. There's nothing that says you can't and they don't charge extra... all I did was ask and they were happy to. The woman who took my order suggested macadamia instead. SOLID recommendation that paired well! Was honestly the best I've had in a long time. My boyfriends açaí works bowl was really good too! The açaí was not too icy or creamy, it's just right. The place itself has some tables and a long bench along the wall to sit on. The workers were so fast and nice. Definitely down to make the 20 minute drive here for halo halo and açaí now.

Full disclosure: the only thing I tried here is the halo-halo, and this was my first time to try it. I can't say that I'm a huge fan, but I think it largely has to do with the toppings. In general I liked the ube ice cream and the condensed milk shaved ice. The Rice Krispies, jelly, and coconut shreds added nice texture and flavors. However, I couldn't really wrap my mind around sweet corn as a dessert topping. I don't really like jackfruit or red bean as toppings either. I'm not sure if all of these are traditional toppings for halo-halo, but I wish I had the option of choosing which ones to add and being charged accordingly!

Came here wanting to try the halo halo and shaved snow but was told they no longer serve shaved snow, only Hawaiian shaved ice.Only got the halo halo this time and it was very good! The Rice Krispies were a perfect addition to the dessert and gave the ice and ice cream some texture. I would definitely come back just for the halo halo!
