Mul naengmeyon and dulsot bibimbap were fantastic! Very deep soup base flavor. Noodles were perfectly chewy.Everything is self service and the place is not necessarily the nicest but the food is fantastic. We got there at 10:45am and there were already a few people there right at opening.

One of our favorite places to go for gamjatang and other dishes. Took my friends there and they also love it. Friendly service though it's mostly self served, but that's the best part! There is also a self service water station. I can't ask for more!

This place is a small restaurant in a small strip mall next to what looks like a Vietnamese donut shop. There are about 10 tables that seat 2-6 people and when you order at the counter and pay. It's sort of a fast food/food court style restaurant where u can get all the typical korean fast food staples like rabokki, naengmyun, bibimbap, jjajang myun, etc. They also have AYCE self service banchan on the side that you can grab yourself. The funny thing was that they have signs promoting their AYCE banchan but they spelt "wasted" incorrectly as "easted" Good place to eat if you want some korean food that's quick and efficient.

Overall, it's not bad. The taste varies for the same menu, and they often forget side dishes for delivery.

Offer me the very good, tasteful korean foods. It is one of the best restaurants. If you like a good quality and a good taste for Korean food, I recommend trying here.

Definitely still recommending this place but had to round down based on my latest visit. Two dishes that didn't live up to my last visit were the cold noodles and Kalbi ribs. The cold noodles had a different flavor and texture to the broth. Good, just not as good as I recall. Not a deal breaker. The Kalbi ribs were even more disappointing. Fatty and chewy. On the positive side, the two new dishes we tried were awesome. Jjajang mien, which was sold out las time was amazing. Great flavors, actually had meat which some places stopped adding, and was a very large serving. No wonder they sell out! Also tried the soon tofu soup which was equally amazing in flavors, meat ratio and portion size. Definitely must tries. Service and self service banchan was still great. Almost makes up for the self service pick up and clean up :)

Found this place on a whim when the restaurant we were headed to was closed. It's an interesting concept where you order at the counter and grab your own sides and seat yourself. When your order is ready you grab it at the counter and when you finish eating you take your trays back. The food was ok. We had the gamjatang, mool nangmyeuon, dduk bok gi, beef tofu soup and jeyuk bokkum. The tofu soup and dduk bok gi were too spicy even though we requested mild. The other items were ok in taste as well.Since we went near closing time after the kids FNL games, the side dish bar was pretty depleted. It's worth a try if you are in the area.

Wow wow wow!! I'm beyond ecstatic that I found this place. We had a party of 10 and there was no wait and we just had to move some tables together to sit together. This is a fast casual type of restaurant so you order in the front and wait for your number to be called. My favorite part is the banchan bar. The kimchi was the best kimchi I've ever had! I love when the kimchi is not too sour and it's sweet and garlicky. My party got carried away with the AYCE banchan that we were full by the time our dishes came out LOLAll the dishes were massive portions. We could've definitely shared instead of each getting our own dishes.I will definitely go here again and again! Best bang for your buck!

We've been a customer of this place since 2018, and have been going back. Great food, everything is good, good portion with reasonable price, great selection of side dish.

Ohh Somunnan -- I got love for you guys and your food, but you're starting to slip. This review is more or less a message to the young guy behind the counter that helped me out.Recently, I placed an order for budae jjigae with ramen substituted for tofu at a cost of $1 extra. I went into the restaurant to let them know that their website for placing online orders does not allow me to process my order while redeeming 1500 out of the 1710 points I have accrued, for my budae jjigae order (and it hasn't for a very long time). The employee was kind about it and said he was going to pass the message along to his boss because he, himself, was not familiar with the online point system. All was good -- I just wanted to let them know that their online ordering system had an issue. From there I just waited for my food.Five minutes passed and my food was ready for pick-up -- I grabbed my food, thanked the employee, and took off for home. When I got home, I ran into a whole different issue. The budae jjigae I ordered and paid $1 extra for tofu instead of ramen, was just budae jjigae with ramen... AND... no rice. He not only didn't give me budae jjigae with tofu, but he also didn't give me any rice (which the order says it comes with rice).Kind of disappointed. Now I have to cook rice and watch as my budae jjigae gets cold. Contemplating running to the store and getting tofu to just throw inside. Sorry, petty -- I know. Just a little disappointed cause it was the first meal coming off a strict diet.Anywho, please do better -- don't start letting me down cause I love the food here!

Wow the food here is delicious!! It's quite casual as you order at the register and it's self seating. Banchan is ayce and self served. There is a good selection and all were tasty. You bus your own table as well. We were blown away by the portions and quality of the dishes. The spicy pork soup had so much meat and we could not finish our 2 orders. Price is reasonable for what you're getting.

I tried Somunnan's Gomtang, but the first thing I noticed was unlimited sefl-service side dishes. They had all the common ones, but the one that really stood out was the kimchi. It was more sour than spicy, but to me that was enough to be unique. Unfortunately, they ran out of the cucumber for the night :( The other side dishes were okay. The Gomtang had a fair amount of ingredients, but the broth was on the saltier end, and the beef was blander, on the drier end, a little tough to chew. Fortunately, the broth was better after being diluted when I took it home. The My friends ordered the cold noodles and jjambbong, and they got quite a bit of ingredients! Overall, Somunnan's a nice little place in a small strip. If I lived around here, I could see this becoming a regular spot. However, service was a little unpleasant with the staff member at the time (will not be going into detail).
