At this point, Aca Taco is comfort food to me. I love their rice, and bowls, and our family also loves the burritos and tacos. I've had them cater more than one event and the food is always incredible.

Came here plenty for the past six months. I thought I had reviewed it before. Great staff, very fast and kind. However...I believe the rice has changed from the past week and now tastes intensely bland, overpowering the other flavors (in a simple bebe burrito). It's a big burrito so I'm often filled up on a single one.Huge bummer. It's always the rice other places served that made me never go again. I'll try again some time and adjust my review accordingly.

Good cheap college town Mexican food. Burritos are big! I recommend the chicken Colorado, and the al pastor! I get the burrito bowls. Had street tacos here for the first time recently. They were good too!Parking: Parking meter situation in Downtown Chico isn't good.

The taco trucks here are soooo much better way more flavor n spice and such a good price. This place is overpriced and tastes like chipotle lmfaoo

It's cheap, it's fast, it's tasty. I go for the veggie tacos w/out cheese. I've been to Aca Taco about 8 times and they only screwed up the no cheese request once (as another review alluded to)
So, be aware they are not the most careful establishment. Don't be surprised to find a shred or two of accidental cheese bits in your tacos from another order. (Happened to me a couple times) For pickier vegans I'd probably just avoid it, but for people a bit more relaxed and looking for some fast Mexican food it's not the worst option in the world.
Keep in mind you won't have any high quality meat alternatives here, just beans for a protein source.

Burritos are good, but the nachos have way too much nacho cheese and the beans are like liquid and have little to no toppings. Everything is overpriced but especially the nachos. They are horrible.
How could I give anything less than 5 stars. I get at least one smile every time I come here. A smile is worth a bunch to me, even though I give them out free.

Really yummy burrito. I got the Al pastor burrito with extra hot sauce. The salsa was not very spicy unfortunately, but the burrito itself was pretty tasty, flavorful, and full. We also got nachos (just the cheese) and it was fine. Nothing special. Wait staff were friendly and welcoming.

Not the best tacos...the beef was burnt so pretty much every bite had a burnt taste and smell to it...plus the beef was also super dry...skip this place...gave this place a couple of chances before writing this review..so yea, nasty Only good thing about this place is their churros.
