Damn. Good. Sandwiches. I've eaten here twice now. My first visit I got the Midnight Express on a sourdough roll- AMAZING. Today I had the Humbolt Hippie on rye- effing AMAZING also. Stop whatever you're doing and go get a sandwich from this shop immediately. Seriously, quit your job, abandon your children, ditch your spouse and get a sandwich right now. You will not regret it.

Did this place have a higher standard of quality at one time? I cannot say. Though I know it takes more than a Kitschy name, Kitschy decor and a cheap Lollipop to make me want to eat somewhere. When you make a sandwich that tasted like it was made with pre packaged luncheon meat, you're not doing yourself any favors. And the Hot Dogs were even worse. It was literally like chewing on an inner tube. I looked like a puppy attacking a chew toy while struggling to bite into the thing, why would you do this?Edit: I had went here back in mid-late October, and only got around to posting this recently due to having a busy schedule. I could plainly see why you stopped serving those Hot Dogs. If you guys are trying to avoid accountability, these sort of tactics are not going to work. You claim to serve cheap, homemade food according to one of your signs. That much is true, but I could make such a sandwich for far less at home without spending extra here.

I got the Chico Chill and it was delightful. Very flavorful and the bread was PERFECT. The best part was finding the lollipop in my to go bag after eating my gourmet sandwich. A real treat.

I had my first sandwich from here today and it was nothing short of perfect! The bread was so soft but stood up to all the sauce and toppings. Loaded with the perfect amount of meat and fresh veggies. I'm so glad I decided to try them out! I'll be ordering again very soon!

Best Sandwiches in Chico. Great people and even better food. Any sandwich on the menu is good especially with the Soviet sauce or dragons breath sauce.

I wish I could give 10 stars!!! So frickin yummy!!! I had the KGB, hold the soviet sauce, add the dragon breath, lettuce, onions. The best sandwich I have had in a long time!! Can't wait to get another one!!
The name is obviously what drew us in but we loved the sandwiches and have been back a few times since. Large portions for decent prices.

Really good sandwich! I got the Genoa and added onions, pepperoncinis, and avocado :P delish! The french roll was so good and fresh tasting, and so were all the ingredients! If you're having trouble finding the menu to order over the phone go to their Facebook page, the takeout menu is there :)

Sandwiches are affordable, stacked and BOMB! I 100% recommend eating here. Their hours are hard to follow and I always seem to miss them. Or show up close to closing, which is at like 4 pm or something, and get dirty looks for showing up close to closing. When you are only open 5 hours a day, it always is close to closing! But sandwiches are worth the dirty looks and snarky remarks.

Just stopped here passing through town and lucked out. The sandwiches were outstanding and the prices were reasonable. Better than even most sit down restaurants.

This place went from great place to eat to a horrible place to eat. They've gotten really rude now and the food is definitely not like it use to be. It's a shame they don't care anymore especially when you can get Jersey Mikes and boar's head sandwiches from Safeway close by. Sadly they will be going out of business soon because they put it up for sale which is probably why they don't care. So sad and unfortunate they don't care nor try anymore.
