The waitress was fabulous great service but the cooks and the food was not that good biscuits and gravy was cold sausage was burnt and my easy poached eggs were half partially boiled hardVegetarian options: I'm really not sure and how much you can trust the vegetarian dishes since they can't even get regular dishes cooked right or even prepared right at the cooks can't do that I'd be even afraid of cross-contamination

I was kept waiting for 45 minutes for a doordash order. It is a disgrace that you prioritize the customers inside your store and keep the order for doordash waiting. I hope you will take this message into consideration. Remember that everyone's time is very valuable.

We had the best service tonight 3/7/24 by a waiter named Ronnie. He was so friendly and prompt. He had 4 or 5 other tables going and did great service. Wonderful food.

Stopped here for breakfast this morning and was waited on by Kelli, she was on it! She is very attentive, polite and got our food to us very quick. I had the CFS and it was amazing!I will definitely be back and I highly recommend eating here. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Literally spent 20$ and some for a chicken fried steak and eggs and potatoes the chicken fried steak wasn’t warm at all the gravy was cold my potatoes where burned but not warm like how do you burn food and it’s still not warm prolly one of the worst meals I’ve ever had in Chico they either need to find a new cook or learn how to properly make food. Literally left a 20$+ plate sitting there paid and left this place sucked

I was standing for 15 minutes with my sister and my 2 grandbabies under the age of 15 months. The hostess was very rude and refused to sit us. She told us that there was a 30 minute wait, but there was a lot of empty tables and booths. After 20 minutes of waiting we left and decided to go eat at Applebee's instead where we were seated right away. I'm never going back, you lost my business and my money!!!!

It is unfortunate since Black Bear has such a great reputation but we have given this location a few different tries over the last few months and it's not worth it. Our most recent breakfast the biscuits were super dry and unedible, when we order the Benedict's the poached egg is always overcooked, it just never seems to live up to the black bear name.
