My fiancé and I spent this past summer touring distilleries in Texas and California. On Saturday 12/23 I had the amazing opportunity of touring the distillery and having a tasting with the owner Kris. Kris is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Everything my fiancé and I tried we loved. I had been searching for a honey whiskey that I like and I had not found one. The last one I bought was the garrison bros honey whiskey which I was not a fan of at all. Golden beavers honey run is hands down the best honey whiskey I've found and is the only one I've thoroughly enjoyed. After spending some time at the distillery with Kris we went to the still house. There we had 4 different drinks and they were all amazing. We had the whiskey sour, old fashioned, mint julep, and an apple drink I cant remember the name of. We did not leave the still house empty handed. We bought 7 different bottles of their product because it is just that good. We will definitely be back. Thanks again Kris for the awesome experience!

Such good drinks!! The bartenders do a great job with all their cocktails, and they use the whiskey & spirits made right here in Chico! They do tastings too if you want to buy a bottle. Rn they're serving these hazelnut cocktails that are a twist on classic drinks. So frikkin good! I had the hazelnut whiskey sour and hazelnut vodka lemon. I didn't expect it as a flavor combo but wowwww .. absolutely delicious!! They're serving soup in bread bowls too. One is vegan chilli, the other is clam chowder. It's a chill environment with soft low lights where you can actually have a conversation cuz they don't blare music hella loud.

Fantastic cocktails in Chico! We just found this place and went two nights in a row. Drinks are very balanced and the service is friendly. Highly recommended!

Designed to look like an old west bar inside an industrial building, and done well! We enjoyed the $6 watermelon lemon drop cocktail special with the huge door wide open to let in a nice breeze. Got some delicious Tri-tip and carnitas tacos from the pop-up vendor out back. Was a wonderful alternative to the crowded and loud option across the way. We were able to enjoy conversation among people we hadn't seen for years. The bartender was friendly and had seeded and pressed the watermelon juice herself!

Golden Beaver is a fantastic place to get a drink in Chico. They serve fantastic alcohol and the environment is top notch. It's nice that you can get good mixed drinks with great service. If you want a fantastic place to drink you should come here. My favorite is the old fashioned.

My hubby and I have become regulars here. Andrew and Jazmin create amazing cocktails from the distilleries own alcohol. Kevin is a really great , friendly fellow who create great paninis. We initially met Chris the owner last year in the other location out by the airport, and he was very friendly and gave us a great tour. But this new location on Park Ave is in our backyard so we come more often. Overall just great! Good food, good drinks and great people and the bar itself is very cool. Give them a try, you will like it too.
