Delicious Sunday Dinner @ Ichiban in Chico, CA. !! We enjoyed delicious Sushi & Donburi and great service by Jordan at this small, but very busy Japanese restaurant. The space itself was narrow and featured seating for both small and big parties. Convenient location next to a great hotel. The staff were pleasant and worked well together, managing to have designated roles, making the service flawless. Skilled chefs, great flavor, and quality ingredients made our dinner delightful. We will be dining here again when we make it back to Chico! Thank you.

Been here a few times, the Ramen is like instant Ramen and always over cooked. They never have the vegetables that go into the Ramen either. Some of the appetizers are also usually out. It's a small place which is fine but I did notice some people get " better service" than others. Our experiences here have not been good so we tried a few times to see if it improves. It's the same

I love going here for some affordable sushi! Their taco is legit. Though they undercooked their fried foods, you can order them well-done for that perfect golden crisp. I love their Lion King too!

Okay, if it is your first time stick to small plates. But avoid the shrimp unless you can afford it. 3 dollars a piece but the best l have had.If you like Thai or Indian curry then don't get it here. It is gravy with no kick, not yogurt or cream based.

First time here. Crabmeat taco with the eggplant shell was so good. Filet mignon wrapped in bacon were also good. Miso soup is bland. Coconut shrimp appetizer was OK. Coconut shrimp katsu curry was disappointing with more of a curry gravy and only 3 shrimp. Japanese fried chicken was terrible. Super hard crust with inconsistent bites, served with a sauce of ranch and a squirt of sirracha, which was not very complimentary to the dish. Don't order. May go back to try other small plates

DIRTY RESTAURANT.I've eaten here many times but the last 3+ times this place has gotten really dirty. Everything from the floor, booths, tables, windows you sit next to are all filthy. Also the place is starting to smell bad, maybe like old frying oil...Please get it together. I think you have the best sushi in Chico, but I don't want to sit in filthy while I eat..
