I haven't had a chance to leave a review until now because of traveling but I stopped here back in December. Everyone always raved about this place and I was moving out of Chico so I had to give it a try before I departed. I LOVE their spices they offer so I should have known I would have LOVED their food as well! I ordered the Kinder's Chicken Philly on a Sourdough Roll, Kinder's Famous Ball Tip Steak Sandwich on a Sweet Roll (I added Swiss Cheese as well.) We also opted for Tequila Lime Fries w/ Roasted Garlic BBQ sauce and had to complete the order with a 1/2 pint of Ranch!! Anyways, lunch was DELICIOUS! The Chicken Philly was huge and PACKED FULL of meat!! Coming from Philly, I appreciated that! Thank you guys! My friend enjoyed her sandwich as well! This is a Chico STAPLE!

Best barbecue in town, no doubt! If you're having a crazing for barbecue, this is the place to go to.

Food is amazing and the service is always wonderful! I got the chance to try a whole bunch of different dishes and they all checked every box; Delicious, filling, flavorful, and tender.

It's some of the best BBQ I've ever had. This place is a little hard to find. Which is why it's pretty much a locals only type of place.

It was my first time trying this place. The BBQ was really good. The ribs were tender and flavorful. Sauce was good as well. My family enjoyed it, and we will buy it again.

Kinder's has gone down in quality the past year or more. Today, the meat was dry and hardly edible... likely explains why there was mayo on it despite clear instructions for no mayo (as present on the order tag). Sadly, this may be the last time I patron Kinder's.

Tried ordering two different meats (brisket and pork belly burnt ends) but they were out. So I settled for the ball tips. They arrived in styrofoam containers and I had to ask for a plastic fork. Kinders is well know for their BBQ sauces, but at this location I received one small plastic container of BBQ sauce. The meat was too raw for me to eat and was cut so thick that you really needed to take it home and cut it up. Given the outhouse in the parking area, this place is not looking for you to sit down and eat. This is not a restaurant but rather someone's house who is trying to drum up business in between catering gigs. The fries were the best part but you had to pay extra as fries are considered a premium side. The handful of fries received was not a great value but it was definitely better than the cold cornbread muffin that looked like they just came out of the refrigerator. Pretty disappointing place to eat.

I have been coming here for years. I personally preferred their old location better but it’s ok the food is still good. The presentation and final prep could be better… it used to be better. You picked the sauce you wanted and it was given to you with whatever sauce you asked for. Now you get it dry and you have to ask for the sauces and slather them on yourself…and I don’t like that at all. But anyways.. the pulled pork sandwich is the bomb. It’s still my favorite, i usually ask for the cole slaw on the side rather than on the sandwich and i add a ton of hot bbq to my sandwich. I like the tequila lime fries with the sauce. All their sides are really good, i’ve tried them all. The ribs are 10/10. Their bbq sauces are 10/10 I’ve tried all of them as well and my favorite is the hot bbq. Do i recommend this spot? Yes, definitely. I think its worth a visit.

Cannot got wrong with kinders bbq. This is a weird location though.Parking is a gravel lot and the restaurant is in the owners backyard, walk up window, and run like an awkward commissary.
