Took my parents here for their 61st (my mom's favorite restaurant). We all had variations of the ultimate feast. All was great, except the food came out on cool plates, and thus, the "feast" didn't stay warm for long.

Don’t know what has happened to the food at this place and many other restaurants in the area. Not near as good as they used to be. So disappointed even after giving another chance.

As always Red lobster is a treat, it's a bit of a distance from the house so we don't get to go all the time! The service was prompt and attentive. As always we ordered too much we ended up taking some home it was very delicious the next day.Parking: Parking is basically right around the building and across the parking lot from the building out front. It's all very close easy walking distance handicap parking is available on both sides of the front of the restaurant.

Red Lobster in Chico, Ca, was open for lunch when we arrived at 1:45 pm after a beautiful day of sightseeing. After a short wait, we were kindly greeted by the hostess and shown to our booth. One of the reasons we chose this restaurant was because there was a posting by someone of a gluten free menu at another Red Lobster. We found out up front that they did not have one, but we proceeded on since steak, salad, and baked potatoes are usually an option. There was a section in the menu dedicated to a lunch menu which allowed flexibility on how many entree items could be included. One of my guests, my brother, ordered the coconut shrimp with mashed potatoes, and the other, my mother, ordered the two lobster tail meal with a baked potato and broccoli. Our server, who was very friendly and busy, brought out waters and went to ask about a gluten free menu. The chef, whom I assumed was very busy also, personally came out some time later when he could with an allergen binder in which he presented to me and apologized for not having a menu, but explained where I could look to see what they had that was gluten free. I ordered a 7 ounce sirloin, which was delicious, and a loaded baked potato which was good. My brother said the coconut shrimp were only okay and the mashed potatoes tasted like instant mashed potatoes. That was a shame. My mother enjoyed her lobster tails and shared them with my brother along with the broccoli and baked potato since his meal was not what he expected, particularly for the price and at a restaurant like this. The atmosphere was typical for a Red Lobster. Everyone there was working hard to service the customers that came in during what seemed like a bit of a rush, so service was a bit delayed because of the influx. Overall a pleasant experience, but because of my brother’s subpar meal I had to deduct from the rating.Dietary restrictions: Celiac with gluten free dietary restrictions. The restaurant provided the allergen binder and because of legalities and cross contamination could not guarantee the food would be gluten free but would take care in its preparation. I ordered a single 7 oz. Sirloin Steak prepared Medium, and a loaded baked potato. Both were delicious, and caused me no issues.

Nice atmosphere. My wife and I were celebrating our 35th anniversary. We had a good time eating and talking. We were there for along time and never felt rushed.

Excellent seafood here. It’s been a few years since I came in to eat at this Chico location, the servers were very respectful and nice and courteous and helpful, yes the food may be a little expensive, but it’s well worth it, I will be back.

I've always loved Red Lobster.Edit: The Chico Red Lobster is not the best one I've been to. Based on my last meal at this location, it's just ok.

Went to go eat at 10 pm when the hours said 11 pm close. No one was there and when we called to make sure they were opened since it looked dark and empty the gentleman man on the was really rude when we asked if it were still open. Won't be going back regardless.

Service was beyond amazing. Had someone check one us about every 3 mins. 1 person was on drinks and another on rolls. Food was out in about 10 mins after orderingUpdate: came back in today a year later and service is still fast and amazing. My food was awesome but the only thing is a problem wiyh my girlfriends food. Left the tails on the shrimp in a saucy pasta. But other than that it was perfect. Also take advantage of endless shrimp while its here.

Won't be back. The food was substandard at any price but for over $100 for 3 people with no drinks I expected much more. Bagged iceberg lettuce for a salad and cold pasta is just not ok.

Prices have gotten so incredibly high for the food and service. No consistency in food. One time is fairly good; next time, greasy and not tasty. Prices keep going up. Menu keeps changing. We go there about once a month, and things keep changing. Today I didn't feel like seafood (last time it was not good) so I ordered a hamburger. Cannot believe anyone could ruin a hamburger...but they did. I like mine well done and told them when they asked how I wanted it cooked. Well, it was very pink in the middle only. Leads me to believe that it was frozen when they threw it on the grill....well done, except for the middle. Bun was hard and tasteless. $19 for a hamburger and fries.. Better tasting ones at Burger King! Portions seems to get smaller, but prices continue to get higher. Sure wish we could find a really good seafood restaurant locally. Time to make a trip to the ocean.
