We happened upon this place by chance. The wood fired oven caught our eye. My kids love pizza and they loved the thin style pizza at this place straight away. Delicious and make you satisfied but also anting another ha ha. I had a make your own and the toppings were generous and melt in your mouth. Cannot recommend it highly enough. This little pizza counter is located in the New Earth Market, off East Ave in Chico CA. My brother and I rolled in here with our families after hours of traveling, and had a delightful evening nosh of fresh baked pizza and beers from the store's large selection. We also got in just before the late rush, where families, working professionals and retirees come in for the pizza and stay for the atmosphere. Pizzas cooked in wood fired ovens just taste better. This is how authentic Italian pizzas are made - with a slighty crispy crust surrounding very soft, airy dough and well cooked toppings. Like the difference with flame grilled hamburgers, others might be "okay," a pizza licked by flames from burning wood is just inherently superior. This assumes all else is equal.
