We have been dining at Sol since it first opened , but unfortunately the quality and value has declined significantly within the past two years. While I understand that running a restaurant in today's economy must be difficult, the Sol menu is an exercise in nickel and diming customers on top of the already high prices. As an example, on a recent visit, I added lettuce to my dinner plate for an extra one dollar. When I opened the container, there were eight strips of lettuce present. On top of this, when I placed my order online, the Sol ordering platform defaults to an automatic 15% gratuity. These may be small complaints, but as a whole represents what appears to be a shift from the customer's experience to the owner's bottom line. Needless to say, we will be patronizing one of Chico's many other fine restaurants moving forward.

Food came out super fast and was very good. The servers were very nice and seemed to all be fairly young so I was very impressed with the way my party was treated and the professionalism they provided.

Recently went here to get a couple of drinks ended up getting the lemon pepper wings and they were some of the best wings I have ever had. The carne asada fries are also the best in Chico. Drinks are fair priced and are great 10/10

Went to have lunch with friends and was very disappointed with our meals. First of our husbands ordered to chile relleno burritos they came back and asked us if we wanted carnitas in them they only put carnitas on one of the burrito and let me state the burritos were 90% of rice and maybe a little bit of beans and barely any meat we asked for wet burritos they put the burritos in a red sauce we ordered two carnitas burritos again filled with rice 90% the rest was just beans and meat again hardly nothing maybe 5 tiny pieces of carnitas, we asked for wet burritos green sauce they gave us red sauce after they said they had green sauce. Come to find out they said oh we don't carry green sauce. With that said red sauce tasted like enchilada sauce. No salsa included with the burritos even. Awful ? Also let me say overly priced for those two burritos and one soda drink came out to $38.00. Not sure what our friends paid for there meal but they did say it was overly priced also. With this experience we won't be ever returning to this place! You definitely lost 4 foody people that love to eat good food at restaurants!!

Not busy for being a Sunday, went around 4pm. Food didn't have a whole lot of flavor but was still good. Portion size was good and prices were lower than expected. When you walk up it looks like it's going to be very spendy but it's actually quite doable. Good drink options. :)

I was mostly disappointment for my first visit. Had the carnitas plate and SO had the fajitas plate. It was cold outside and I was a little chilled and my first bite of the carnitas was cold cold salsa on top of luke warm meat. In addition the carnitas were not crispy and had little to no flavor. The fajitas were also very bland as well as the tortillas. The fajitas at Chiles are soooo much better but usually do not go to chains. On the good side the guc and beans were good and the portions were large. The service was non existent Yes they were busy but no overly so. Only time I saw a waiter was when the food was delivered. They did not even have water on the table. I really do not see why there are so many great reviews, It is very americanized mexican food.

I went to this place like 15 years ago once and never had been back, just never thought of going. A couple months ago my friend wanted to go and I'm so glad I rediscovered this place!! It is so quick, spot on every time and delicious. Friendly and efficient staff, and a nice outdoor patio to eat on. Their chili rellenos are delicious and I usually get the taco salad w black beans and grilled fajita veggies, sooo good and fresh every time. Been prob at least 10x since. This place is super consistent. Highly recommend.
