The Sycamore Tap & Table is the place for Hilton Gold and Diamond members to get breakfast. Gold and Diamond members receive a $15 breakfast credit for up to two guests. Most of their combos are $!5. They also have a breakfast buffet for We decided to get a French toast for my wife. I got it to go since she doesn't like get out of the room, or bed early in the morning. I came back for the breakfast buffet for $14. The breakfast buffet was a typical hotel buffet with scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, potatos, oatmeal, fresh fruit and breads. I choose the buffet because I couldn't decide which combo I wanted. Everything was cooked in the restaurant fresh. No powdered eggs like at the Residence or Hampton Inn. Service was good. The waitress was nice and attentive. She made sure that my coffee cup was always filled. Sycamore was a good place for breakfast while staying at the Doubletree.

The food wasn't bad and I would eat here again. I had had a long day and that server was very nice. They had good service. I had a burger/fries/soda. The huger was taller than the opening of my mouth, so big. I had to cut it to eat it -- worked better .

From the beginning until check out the experience was great. Hotel has been freshly remodeled and the room was spotless. While dining in the restaurant service and the quality of food was outstanding. I would definitely would stay here again.

I always enjoy my stay at Double Tree in Chico. They are welcoming, accommodating and I really appreciate how the rooms are clean, how they do the bedding and the new design of the bathrooms with walk-in showers. The onsite restaurant is convenient especially after a long drive and food is great. Also, is easy off/on access to freeway.

We visited this place solely due to the food credit we received from the hotel. However, to our pleasant surprise, the food turned out to be exceptional. It was so impressive that we are definitely planning to return specifically for the dining experience.

We had a wonderful stay here. The check in process was fast and easy, and we were able to check in at 2 pm as long as we became Hilton honors members. The TV in the room said "welcome, Stephen" when we walked in, which was a nice personal touch. Warm cookies were given out at check in, and they were the best chocolate chip cookies in all of northern California. We went to the restaurant and bar, enjoyed a pizza and a few drinks with a friendly bartender, then spent a couple hours at the pool. The staff maintained the supply of pool towels, and there were plenty of lounge chairs. My wife asked for extra cookies and coffee, and they agreed happily. Big TV, refrigerator, coffee maker, nice shower and fancy soaps, comfy bed and pillows. My only big complaint is that the rugs next to the beds are dangerously slippery. I'd find a way to either stick them to the floor, or remove them. This place was a holiday inn many years ago, and is much better now. Got a great rate on hotwire.

Okay so I was lucky to be able to use my Hilton points for the Chico State Graduation and get into this hotel in first place. Now this isn't at all a fancy hotel but you know the room was okay, the AC worked fine, the shower and bath were okay too. The room is small so 2 people are cozy in it but this is a-okay and gave us what we needed. Bonus as Gold member you get $15 credit or more points and they had a covered roof with electric car chargers for free. I was pleased to put my hybrid S-Class mercedes out of the sun and able to get a full battery charge for high quality chargers (ClipperCreek same ones I have at my house) for no charge. Overall if I had to come to Chico (doubtful) I would stay here again.

Room was great. Clean and quiet. Front desk was very helpful. They do have a full bar and breakfast is served for a price. No free breakfast. Best part is they have solar panels and many charging stations for guest cars to charge at. Chargers do not go on until 9:00 P.M.

Victor is accommodating, knowledgeable, friendly and attentive. Great drinks, always have good conversation with interesting people and have had some good food too! Chicken Piccata, Pizza and some yummy specials. Will definitely continue to come here!
If you need a place to stay in Chico, you would be doing yourself a disservice if you didn’t at least look at staying here. The staff at check-in were quick and very welcoming. The rooms are clean and nice and the beds are pretty comfortable as well! I ate the buffet for breakfast on Saturday and Sunday. The food was hot, tasty and they had good coffee : ) The location is great and there is a Denny’s next door as well. I’d stay here again without a second thought if needed.

During the Xmas holiday we had the pleasure of staying at the double tree. We spoke to Roslyn regarding renting out one of the event rooms for a small family gathering. Roslyn went above and beyond our expectations to prepare the room for our family. She took the time and even added some special Xmas touches. We couldn’t be more grateful for her and her staff. The room was also very comfortable and having a restaurant on site was a huge plus.

If you are looking for a more upscale place to stay while visiting Chico that doesn't require you spend an arm and a leg, then this is it. A comfortable, updated and convenient place to stay while not breaking the bank. My stay overall was excellent and the staff were friendly and accommodating. I do have (2) small things to vent about: 1. I think they should do a better job of conveying that breakfast isn't included in your room rate. They tried to charge me $16 for a plate of eggs and fruit when you can literally go next door to Denny's and have a full breakfast with more options and better pricing. 2. The pool / hot tub schedule is ridiculous and makes it virtually impossible to enjoy. 10am - 10pm. Check out is at 11am so when am I supposed to enjoy it? Then, when I asked for towels to be delivered, they forgot and I had to enter the hotel soaking wet in November. Not a big deal but big enough.

I was delighted to find this oasis near my side of town. I'm a local and find the service excellent and friendly. I can enjoy a delicious entree of chicken piccata or French fries and wings all is delicious and the homemade crab soup is also a favorite. Sheppard pie is my order. Open 7 days a week. As good as any where else or better , in Chico. It's consistent.
